I looked her up, but the only clear photos I could see are ones where she had dark hair. I saw a photo of her with blond hair but it was not too clear.

I don't think it's a low blow---your friend is obviously very pretty (she has beautiful eyes), she was just commenting that she looks like this Nadia person, which I said before should not be an insult, as many transexuals are beautiful.

American women don't just automatically try to steal men from other women. This often happens because the man is allowing it. I'm not saying this has anything to do with your situation but this is the case in other situations. Some men have two faces. They tell these women they are miserable in their relationship and very unsatisfied and that their girlfriend/wife is mean and that they are the only woman who really understands them and that they are planning to leave their wife/girlfriend and so on and so on. So these women believe them. They see the girlfriend/wife as an enemy and have no remorse for getting into relationships with them and trying to take them away. The men act innocent, of course, and say they are being chased by these women for no reason. I have seen this happen so many times before to women.

This is a very personal experience, of course, but I remember my brother mentioning something similar when he returned to Canada after spending 12 years in England and in France. That was perhaps ten years ago now, and I remember him commenting that he had found the way to approach a young adult woman had been different in Europe, meaning easier, at least for him.
