But in these Pageants, at the end of the night one of the lovely ladies is crowned Ms. Slavia 2007. Who would it be?

there are young girls who originate from Poland in the school I am teaching, we do not seem ti have any difficulties, I can understand the need for confilt amongst our youth. I beleive the root of this problem is a lack of understanding of cultures, furthermore, the concept of change. The way humand manage change is very interesting - there is always dissatisfaction and jealousy involved. It is the responsibility of the elders to encourage peace and respect among the youth. the question isn't about beauty its the 'new ' thing on the shelf (i am not refering to Polish females as objects, using a comparative example) the young british boys have become socialised with this mentality of 'renewal'..

So if instead of polish were for example indian girls would the british boys engage into renewal?

it is interesting that you mention individuals from India, first question can i ask why?
to answer your question, i have visited scotland on many occasions it is an excellent example of integration and inter cultural relationships, i must add that i have witnessed more marriages between english (white ethnicity) and pakisatni muslim people as opposed to 'dating'
i am not sure of your understanding of english culture but for a long time there was a great divide between south asians and white english, they would have a tendency to live in their neighbourhoods - green st, belgrave rd, wilmslow rd to name a few. our society did not allow us to look at them in a way that was approachable. in addition, there culture is quite distinct for example their dress, their language, their worship and their outlook on life. in fact it was very rare to see asian women driving.. the comparison between polish and indian is not suitable in my opinion for this particular situation. thank you

Interesting approach. My understanding of the english culture is almost non-existent,this enlightens some things. So the asians tended to live in ghettos while the Poles seem more prune to contact with english?
Do you think the Poles will integrate to the english culture or the english will be influenced by polish culture?Which could prove stronger if there is any interaction?

my honourable friend, the word ghetto is harsh, i have been on the commitee of various racial equlity councils in london, and northern england, in addition i have worked alongside aspiring journalists who have documented this idea in a social sense. please engage in further study on english culture it is very interesting, you will find that the renaissance had a great impact on the beleifs and values. this is a polish forum but as you mentioned other ethnicities - the indian community has had a long and gradual process of entering the UK, firstly it has stricter guidelines on entry and stay, a further point i understand people from poland are hardworking but migration in the 50's, 60's and 70's was predominantly from south asia and west indies. gentlemen left their families and entered england. the y lived near factories and industrial areas hence the locations i mentioned tend to be inner city. they reduced crime, reduced prostitution and the number of alchohol related crime - nowadays it is evident that crime has increased and other social problems.
poland and its culture, my brief understanding of the culture i can say as a socialist that it will be difficult to maintain the culture, capitalism and materialism are the dominant forces here - european identity is very similar with small differences here and there, in terms of values i think they are religious and i think they will decline as well. this is my opinion only generally htorugh observation not a formal study.

not always, it depends. Guys from the UK have awesome accents, and there's something about their look I find attractive.

No, English and Indian cultures have always remained racially segregated I think it's mainly to do with religion plus the fact that many things in English culture are forbidden by Asians. Ultimally indian / pakistani women only date Asian men because of this. They are also not allowed near non muslims or other men anyway.

I once had an Asian girlfriend and we both suffered a lot of racism from Asian people. After having fights with a few of them over nothing I eventually gave up, we decided to end it due to unforseen cultural differences.

To put it blunt, Asians in England are racist and there women are severely oppressed.
