My hugely intellectual contribution to this debate is that the flight to see one in their home country tends to be longer from London for Russian Girls. Beyond this I do not wish to generalise further.

I wasnt mad, just frustrated. I have friends who are russian, she is so sweet
and so seeing this thread, well, of course its bothersome to see it keep coming
up, I am even guilty to respond, but I have to respond to your post to clear
up my end of the misunderstanding.

I think all women deserve respect, when we are children, we grow and we try
to learn what is right and wrong, and some do things not because they want to
but because they have to, society doesnt help those who turn in the wrong directions
and those who have to do things they wouldnt do otherwise just to put themselfs
through schooling to become a better person.

This is where I am coming from. I know, its not right to do things bad to people
and some do this because they are past help, and maybe are doing drugs or
just plain out have lost hope and have been treated badly for so long its a way of
life. yes there are some who take advantage. but as a woman, how can she
respect a man who is wanting things for money, or cheating, why should it be the
woman who lacks respect, when its the man who is asking for the deed?

Can we end this thread please as it’s getting me down big time. I have worked in both countries over an extended period of time. Not once in either country was I approached to ‘take me out of here darlink’ by beautiful women whose husbands/boy friends were drunks, serial abusers, adulterers etc. Having read this thread again it would appear that my age and ugliness must be terminal , hence I am very depressed.

IMHO women in both countries are charming, well educated (on the whole) and not as desperate as some of the idiots posting here would have us believe (how many of them have ever been to Russia?) . There are good and bad people in both countries as there are in every country in the world.

I am now going away to put a paper bag over my head and lie down in a darkened room.

I am polish and my best friend is russian. She always goes like this: what makes you so beautiful? Is it because you're polish? It makes me smile but... hello! She is pretty, really pretty she just doesnt see it! I feel bad everytime she says that. It is NOT! about where you came from! I dont know what makes you beautiful but it just happens. I can't see a difference between polish or russian girls. All i know: if you go to some disco clubs in chicago or some other american city all you see are polish girls looking slutty and ******. Our reputation is... is a **** darlings. We made it by ourselves. So i think the problem is not a difference between polish or russian girls.. maybe we should talk about the real problem that we cannot face! REPUTATION!
Someone said on this forum that polish girls are not as pretty as italian or spanish girls! DEPENDS! I am half italian and my mom always tells me i look more italian than polish... some other chick i met said i look more polish than italian! so quit that! every woman has something beautiful inside or outside of her...

and by the way... i asked my dad (who is italian) why did he chose a polish woman.. he said it doesnt metter where the woman comes from.. but you can't kill the love just to make it dissapear. Think about it.
