Hi guys, I took all your advice and went to get my man last night and it worked. He said last night, he had wanted to surprise me and call me on Christmas day but I couldnt wait that long. I went to meet him at 7 when I knew he would finish work and he was so pleased to see me. Anyway he asked if I wanted to go to a bar and obviously I said yes. We went to his house and he got changed and I met his brother and his brother is handsome too. (2 brothers for the price of one) Ha only kidding. Anyway we went for a lovley drink and meal and he asked me to be his girl. I'm so so happy. Tonight we are going out again and this time we are going to make sweet music in his bedroom (music of making love). So I wont be on this forum anymore in case he finds out. Ladies dont worry, your prince charming is out there. You just have to wait for him to find you. Bye all.

A bit greedy, perhaps.

one thing i have learned about polish guys (correct me if im wrong here) is that they dont play games, or play it cool... when it comes to a girl they are interested in.
if he likes you he will let you know, you have taken a risk here, its obvious that you are interested ....dont chase the guy, poles are a little more traditional than (english and german) guys at least.
of course he could just be shy....but even so...you have madea move for him...

my man finds the whole dating thing here so ridiculous and awful, he cant beleive the stress people put themselves through, for him its simple, no games. he saw me, he took me out, we stayed together, now we are engaged, one day will be married.simple.

trust me hes like breath of fresh air after growing up in the uk =)

good luck love x

And wait, and wait and wait....
It's easy to meet someone, fall in love and marry, but the hard part is to keep the marriage alive. Sometimes after a few years couples get bored with each other, but sometimes they don't. It depends on one's personality and attitude towards one another.
And love. There has to be that love....

I think your avatar would be a dead giveaway, should your man ever stumble across this forum.

I was thinking this too. And even if there was no avatar, surely the description of the situation might also give it away, you Polish guy (19?) a Christmas card with a number, the shop, meeting him and at what time.

It could also be that it never happened...

I am so happy for you! I'm sure if your Polish guy came across this forum (unlikely, most Polish guys don't like to get advice) he would forgive you.

So do I get an invite to the wedding for the good advice????:)

All the very best to you Leeann, at least your Christmas was happier than mine. My lover decided to break things off a week ago, replaced by a younger model. Broke my heart didnt eat for a week, too much of a sudden shock, but am coming to terms to it, we remain good friends.

Merry Christmas.Lol

maybe he thinks you're stalking him. talk to him like a normal person first. maybe you won't even like him. maybe he's just shy. or pick up saturday shifts and get to know him. you'll get the picture if he's interested or not. i personally would think it's weird to get a Christmas card with a note to call wishing a Merry Christmas. i just wouldn't over analyze it. let whats natural happen :) and good luck. i love my polish boyfriend, he's the best.
