If you could describe some "general features" of an Irish man, that would help... What are Irish men usually like?

Hi Guest from Ireland, [money and women] sound very much like "American men" smile I guess men around the world think about money and pleasures.

To answer your question - ask yourself this question first: " Would you feel good with a girl who thinks about money and MEN [plural] all the time?". Of course, it's important in this world to take care about financial matters, but I cannot understand why think about women all the time. I mean - do Irish men still think about women even if they already date a girl or are married? If so, that's not right. If not - if you're a single man - I can understand you can think about women in general. But all in all a Polish girl wouldn't appreciate it if you date her and look around for another woman at the same time (I guess not only Polish girls wouldn't like that :|).

So... I feel you'd be better off to focus on money (if you have to) and on the womAN, not woMEn. Then you're in a good position to start a long-term relationship with a nice Polish girl smile.

Young irish men are hot... and funny. Of the irish guys i know, they seem to enjoy smoking weed much more often then getting drunk, which i find odd. i love irish guys!

id be in the minority of irish men i guess.

I love women and money is important but love is far more close to my dreams than the other too. I read, I theorise, philospihise, study, enjoy music, film, etc.

This is another 'generalisation' thread. what harm sure!

i agree irish men are very selfish a lot of the time. beer, money, women. not always in that order. i think polish men pay a lot more attention to their partners and their needs and are more romantic.

irish seem to be getting bad reputation every where. men just seem to be going mad. a lot lack manners and respect .
but to be fair my local now has a lot of visitor's from poland and all the men seem to do is grab women on the dance floor. its not going down too well with the local women or men for that matter.a lot of the polish are being barred from coming in with their behavior. but i do know some lovely polish people who are far from rude.
what ever happened to old fashioned manners? is it just a distant memory?

that's society in general.

proves above point - that its not the irish or polish. both are as bad as each other. both have shining examples of chivalry and thuggary!

They still exist in some Polish, English, French, German, Irish people (it jjust SOOOO obvious, the ignorant and rude ARE LOUD ) - (and you cannot exclude the polish from that bracket, its all of us)

Polish and Irish culture is way too similar! as european nations go, and ive experienced a few, i feel at home most when im away in poland

some deserve it - so do some of each nationality

and gender! british and irish women have a real bad rep against the polish ladies according to the threads here

you've just gotta know where to find the right 'sort' of men (pubs and clubs - you pretty much deserve what you find - drink + smokes :/

Ok, I must add my two cents worth. It really doesn't matter if they are Polish, Irish, English, etc etc etc. There are two sides of guys. The Good, well manner, and lady like and there's the jerko, a hole, and pain in the ass. It gets hard not to label all guys once we have been mistreated and hurt. Life does go on and we must not allow all of our past experience in one basket. Ok, enough said.

You cannot say what Irish men are like yet, we are a nation in a state of major change, perhaps in 10 years you will be able to judge.
