Kinda strange that "polish" shops would be owned by pakis, in the part of m/c I live all the shops are staffed by Polish people, so I assume they are owned by Polish..

I wasn't stiring the pot, I was just saying that people of a certain religion dont have the right to protect about others selling certain goods in their shops, its a free country and as long as what you are selling is legal then whats the problem...and whilst Im on the point of "selling legal" items, maybe I'll complain to the Police about the paki shop selling hooky dvd's....

I'm with you on this, it is Islam that is doing the insulting.... I'm just suprised there isn't more level headed people like you.... If your being insulted in your own country by a foreign culture, it just shows you that the muslims have it too good... If they don't like it they can go back to the middle east and not have to deal with pork if they are so insulted....

im a muslim and butchers selling pork doesnt bother me..nor dus it bother me wen i go 2 the pub/bar (where i DONT drink alcohol) and sit with people that are drinking and eating meat/pork/beef/watever..

No not everyone, however you must admit that many don't see it your way... If all muslims would be like you and learn to not force beliefs onto others than it would go a long way in repairing the negative image the religion has...

true..i undastand that..but i think many of the younger generation see it my way..its just the oldies hu have an issue with things..either that or im pretty naive :)

I dont know what a polish girl would do in a relationship with a muslim if she cant
cook the way she was taught.. and is forced to eat foods/cook foods she isnt
familiar with.. the whole culture is like doing a 360..

No I dont thing your naive, in fact I think your right for the most part...... Now not to say that some in the younger generations aren't like the oldies but the majority seems like their not... Unfortunate thing is that the oldies are the ones who run the governments of the middle east...... however I think within a few decades this may change.....

hmmm....i wudnt say i was traditional..but i do have limits which i wouldn't cross..but i think of myself as British and der r obviously thngs that other cultures allow which arfen't aloowed in mine and uv jus gta get on with it..n i totally agree with many of the comments iv read about not changing laws 2 suit muslims..laws shudn't need 2 b changed..we shud all b able 2 live 2getha respectful of each others cultures and religion..but like i sed the some people hu have moved here from elsewhere don't c it like this..

can you give good examples to what is/can happen in a Polish/Muslim
relationship.. do you know of two relationships that worked without
regret? and sorry folks it would be more of a Catholic/Islam relationship
how can this work? the two clash like fire and water.

I can see a marriage happening if the man and woman become seperated
from their religious bond. and no regrets and later move on to some other
denomination if they choose. ( that would be a union) not the woman becoming
islamic or vs versa.. because I am sure there are laws for him as well that would
create problems.

well its a bit complicated when it cums 2 marrying in2 other cultures and religions..from wat i remember (n it myt b wrong so will hve 2 do sum research) but men can marry women from other cultures (im not quite sure if they have 2 convert 2 islam 1st tho) but women cant marry ne1 hu isnt a muslim..so if she is in love with a guy hu isnt muslim den 2 b able2 marry him he has 2 convert 1st..

2 b fair i dont really know of marriages that work wen the 2 mix..im sure there are the sum but from my experience n people that i know it dusnt..BUT then agen i know a lady hu was marryd like twice 2 muslim men and is now happily marryd 2 a white guy..but he had2 convert 2 islam..i jus dont know how well he follows islam..dus that make sense???

What a load of bollox...the younger generation are extremists and after the London bombings there were more head gear wearers than I have ever seen in my life....It's like here I am, Im a muslim..the older generation that came over in the 70s integrated....to a certain degree.....
