I don't think this is the case in all Islamic countries, but it is for some, that implement a particularly extreme interpretation of Sharia. Her conviction was overturned on appeal, in part for the truly bizarre reason that, "under some interpretations of Sharia, babies can remain in gestation in a mother's womb for five years, raising the possibility that her ex-husband could have fathered the child."

Strikes me as unfair that the victims in a violent attack should be charged at all. But she was in the company of a man (not her husband) in a car. She must have worked hard to tempt those 7 rapists to attack her in a car. But the man she was in the car with was raped too. So she must have been so very tempting to those rapists, that they couldn't wait, and raped him too. Serves him right.

It's true that under Sharia law a woman's testimony in court is worth half that of a man's testimony. (You yourself tried to justify that on the grounds that, "women rely on feelings in their thoughts and decision and thats a fact," thereby revealing your contempt for women.) And I know that in most interpretations of Sharia, apostasy and blasphemy can be punishable by death.

The real problem with Sharia, in my opinion, is its philosophical basis. Because it is based on the supposed word of Allah (in the Koran), and on the hadith, it is difficult for moderate Muslims to argue for reform.

Dude the wisdom of being stoned(only the case when some1 MARRIED cheats his/her partner), is that when some1 knows that a punishment will be applied. So no one will cheat his wife/husband.
If he/she are not married then having sexual affairs will lead to being lashed.
That preserves the dignity of family and also preventing problems of women having babies with no fathers, or abortion.
After all fornication is a sin in most religions

Again - I think it's very fair that when a man living on this Earth, during his lifetime he gets the most of life with all its beautiful gifts regardless wether he is a believer or not-believer. Only after he dies he get what he really deserves. And I think there's a wisdom in it.
