It seems that after Tusks visit in Israel thier governemnt decided to give the newest military technologies for Poland. We will see how it will look in reality.

article in Polish

http://www.dziennik.pl/polityka/article152536/Izrael_uzbroi_polska_arm ie.html

It seems that we want to resign form US equipment and instead of that try to develope our army using Israeli ...

we already have good expirience with Israeli weapons. In the result we have factory (owned by Polish people) producing this missiles in our country and our army has this missiles as well. So offset is much better than US offsets we are used to get.

I am not admirer of our close cooperation with Israel. And I was a little bit shocked when I saw in TV Israeli PM calling Poland Israeli friend ... I think this all military aid has something to do with US shield, 15% for Jews (properies), Russian military help for Syria and Iran ... very comlicated issue.

as to terrorists as we noticed, there is not so many potential terrorists in Poland ...

I hope we are not going to be so close Israeli ally as it seems ... IMO we shouldn't play in big global games and concetrate on our region and EU ...

I agree Łukasz, Poland won't be a big player on the international scene for a long time. Building credibility through the EU is the way forward. It can't get ideas above its station and put itself at risk. The EU will help to raise the profile of Poland and restore faith.

lukasz, hate to worry you buddy but not all terrorists are brown skinned, have a close look at a group of palastinians for example and you could easily pick half a dozen out that could pass for native "europeans".

I have been looking for something in English about military cooperation. It isn't about "tanks" it is about Poland and Israel at all (Israeli daily, I don't share their view on PL-Israeli issues All in all I find this article interesting)

http://www.haaretz.com/hasen/pages/ShArt.jhtml?itemNo=871497&contrassI D=2&subContrassID=4&sbSubContrassID=0&listSrc=Y

They describe the sixth-largest country in the European Union (EU) as "the most pro-Israeli on the continent." "Warsaw is closer to Jerusalem than to Brussels," as one of these diplomats put it. "The Arab ambassadors in Warsaw have to lower their gaze time and again as they listen to the speeches of the Polish leaders about the Middle East. If there is a government in Europe that Israel relies on at times of trouble, it is the Polish one and that, despite the problematic elements in it." That was true at the time of the Second Lebanon War, and during the discussions about the Iranian nuclear program, and any time that the Middle East is
discussed in the forums of the EU or the United Nations. Israel defines bilateral relations with Poland by the unusual term "strategic," and, for its part, Warsaw does likewise.

In Poland, which is devoid of Muslim migrant workers, there is no Arab lobby, there are no calls to boycott Israeli academia, and there are no anti-Israeli
demonstrations.
Posters on Jewish or Israeli themes are not defaced, shop windows displaying Jewish literature are not shattered; and synagogues do not require protection.

The country that U.S. President George Bush also describes as "our best friend in Europe" is trying to shake off the heritage of communism and the Eastern bloc's traditional pro-Arab policies. Since it does not have a
colonial past, it also does not have a moral debt to the Arab world, and that region's significance in Polish eyes is far less than the Arab world's importance to the Western world.

Gawd, dont those isrealis look at the world through a funny shapped glass?WTF ,the protests against them bombing women and kids in the lebbanon had nothing to do with an "arab lobby" and more to do with jews and christians over here getting pee'd off at isreals continual flouting of dozens of UN resolutions not to mention slaughtering women and kids.

I will tell you how it will look...the Israelis have stolen most of their military technology from the US...then what they do is sell 'knock-off' versions of the same,
or 'altered' hardware that does not work properly...they may sell Poland some outdated stuff that still works, but that is all...remember that Israel has sold 'under the counter' US technology to China, Iran, Taiwan and other nations...also, if you let Israeli 'advisers', 'contractors' or 'consultants' into the country, you will welcoming a termite's nest of spies...why not buy directly from the US or Russia?...but those countries might require hard cash...US & Russia might require 'concessions' also, in the case of the US allowing their missiles into Poland...but the Israelis will require 'concessions' also.

Jews are making some very good weapons and can offer very good deals in case of cooperation in productions, so yes buy but don't make any front page news out of It. What's the point ? We buy military equipment from Sweden or Finland and don't scream about It all over the media.

I have to disagree with you here Joe. Technology has not been stolen....it has been handed over, and funded without any sort of regulation, at the cost of american taxpayers.

Israeli technology is now outselling US technology. For over 50 years the Big Bear had been feeding and looking after its little brother, with nothing in return. Now little brother is (within character) biting the hand that fed it.

Agree with the rest of what you said though....

As a 60th anniversary gift to the State of Israel, and residents of Tel Aviv specifically, Polish animators and artists turned Tel Aviv‘s city hall into a bright, beautiful canvas.

At nightfall Thursday night, the façade of the city's municipal building became a huge screen, featuring a breathtaking light show created by American designer Bart Kresa, featuring images inspired by Oscar award winning Polish animator Zbig Rybczynski.

I like ABBA too.
The military cooperation - well, funny how it comes back where it started (if you know the background of those who organized Israeli military forces and then lead them for a few decades).

After the visit of Prime Minister Donald Tusk’s in Israel, a strategic military partnership between Poland and Israel is forecast. Israeli Minister of Defense Ehud Barak declared, that he is ready to agree contracts with our country for the supply of newest generation weapons that can only be supplied to a partner of great trust.

I don't see any sense in any country invading Iran! By invading Iraq, America has thoroughly drained itself financially, devalued her dollar against the EU, and lost many of her children. I even posted that it would become the new 'Vietnam' if America went ahead and hit Iraq.

America is in the midst of a DEPRESSION, not just a Recession, caused by NAFTA. I'm seeing adults moving into houses together, because they can't afford to live alone any longer. I've seen the middle class destroyed by that agreement, after promises of higher wages. No, jobs that normally paid here 60K a year plus were shipped off to India for $2 an hour.

America is falling apart, with a Wealthy group in charge - damn the rest of the country. NAFTA: betrayal of the Middle Class
