This is a website for compnay that can do anything to completely re design ones look. They have a brochure that tells all they offer. I saw this yesterday and could not resist posting this. Now I am thinking what a great way to get all the pf women to write me . One big LOL to this !

It is information and the costs associated with such things here in the US vs. over in Poland I t may be cheaper here to accomplish certain things like this and in secrecy. If you come to the US and do it, no one will know.

Better off going to Thailand,heck of a lot cheaper there lol

I doubt that lol! If I ever elected to do plastic surgery (and I wouldn't because it makes people look creepy) I definitely wouldn't get it done in Poland. I don't think that there's a big market for it, so I doubt most of the surgeons would be all that experienced. Where would the Polkas get the money to do it?

I think that cosmetic surgery is overall more prevalent in the US (esp LA) than it is pretty much anywhere in Europe....although I have read an article that women in Italy were getting new hymens sown back on before getting married. Still, I doubt that many women actually did it.

Are you based in the US? I'm guessing that you're not aware of the "medical tourism" bandwagon... lots of British patients are travelling to Poland for elective procedures like cosmetic surgery.

I wouldn't trust it. I've heard of people in the US going to Mexico for cosmetic surgeries because its supposed to be so much cheaper but it often ends up being a botched job. Poland probably has better equipment but I doubt that there are enough surgeons with experience and expertise in this arena.
But then, I'm cynical of any kind of cosmetic surgery, anywhere :S

Dentistry is the main reason for people travelling to Poland from the UK - I had veneers done last time I was in Warsaw and am more than happy with them, but I've read that that the number of cosmetic surgery patients travelling to Poland is on the increase.

I don't know, it just seems weird to me that people would be going to Poland to get their boobs done. Oh well, at least Poland is getting some industry :)

Mali,just a pointer,"Cosmetic surgery" was pioneered in Europe, wartime Britain to be precise where the procedures were first utilised to try to reconstruct the faces of horrificaly burnt fighter pilots. North America doesnt have some special skill for this,the only skill North America seems to have is in dreaming up ever more obsurd procedures such as cushioned heels and Butt expansions bladibladi blah :)

This is true, but the US took the industry and turned it into more than just face reconstruction. It is home to the trout pout :) Surely thats something to be proud of?

I just find it very facinating that so many of my neighbors who grew up as farm girls and have always stayed home are now out trying to change them selves and spending so much money doing it. You look at their husbands and wonder if they really even care. They don't change . They still spit chew all over the place as before. Wanting too look pretty is one thing. Trying to make yourself something you are not is ridiculous. It is the whole psychology behind it. What is causing this need? Would it be better to spend the money taking a class or traveling? It seems to be an issue of the stay at home wife coming out of her shell and now having the money to do it. The problem is I go to a farm auction and the natural fatty's all snicker behind their backs about who did what. What good is that for ones self esteem? MAYbe I should buy a farm in Poland to get away from this problem?
