God forbid!

Lusatia has anything with Bin Laden. That is one little Slavic region under occupation.

Lusatia. Very small isn't it? I don't see why their foreign policy or relations would be different than any other Southern-Slavic nation. Is there a large German minority there, Crow?

I saw pictures (on another forum) of some sorb towns in SE germany. The street signs were in german and sorbish! I don't know anything about the relations though, just thought i'd share that interesting fact. I would think the Sorbs are probably closer to the krauts than the poles.

Well since Lusatia isn't a recognized nation, Polish-Sorbian relations are nonexistent.

But most Western Slavs (Poles, Czechs, Slovaks) are friendly amongst themselves.

The Germans consist majority in Lusatia. Sadly the Sorbs most probably will be completely germanized in near future. Their population is small and German government seems contend with such situation and don't want to pay for Sorbian language schools where few children attend.

I have read an interview with one of the leading Sorbian activist and he definitely prefer Poles over Germans. He was talking about Slavic soul and etc. Still this is just one guy who actually cares about the future of his nation.

Lusatia is part of land in Eastern Germany, which as probably many of you know quite pathetic. People immigrate to the west (also the Sorbs) and most socialistic element stayed. Such lands have no bright future.
