I think you should do the personal interviews and I'll do the pics (headshots only tho. nothing too racy) It will be easier to have it as a website rather than a catalogue. Seems like a lot of work tho. Bugger it, lets just post a thread on here instead asking for Polish men looking for foreign women! We will be discounting those that dont speak English tho.. and they are often the best :)

It's because they have few other options. Very few women really want to 'rough it' in Alaska so there's a shortage of women there. Alaska has sizable cities now but it's still an outback culture. That plus Alaska is the migration point of choice for men that are "trying to figure themselves out" and are 'different'. I heard men like that are super horny though if that's what you're looking for ;)

I got a popup the other day for polish mail order brides LOL. Is it really so bad in poland u have to marry an old dude while your still young just to leave? Has any1 heard of polish mail order brides before? Any1 else think they are a bunch of gold diggers? =P

all these stupid websites with "Polish" mail order brides havent actually got any Polish women on them, just Russian or Lithuanian. i dont know whats a worse sacrifice, marrying an old guy or waking up next to your stoned face every morning.

well, they make all those males who are not able to get a wife in their own country happy. It is a deal for both sides.

...untill they run away to the big smoke, find an employer who is pie-eyed enough to take care of her work permit etc. and then demand a divorce. And then continue to climb their way up the ladder.

Quite clever really.

I know of a Phillipine mail order bride who has been living in UK for a year or so now. She works 45 hours per week (sometimes more), her husband is 20 years older than her and doesn't lift a finger in the house so she does all the cooking and cleaning etc but she is happy because she lives in a nice house, is financially secure and is able to send money home to her family.
