maybe. however most Poles emigrate for finanacial reasons and making $$$ is their number one priorety.

hence most Polish immigrants in Canada and the U.S. work harder and save more $$$ and build a higher net worth than your average Canadian or American who consumes more than he or she saves.

i know many Polish people across Canada and the U.S. and all of them own their homes. None of them rent. Most invest their disposable income in land, rental properties and financial instruments such as stocks and bonds. As a result the majority of these Polish immigrants have a much higher net worth then their American or Canadian neighbours.

We do have a saying in Poland that goes "Rude jest wredne" ( "Read head is vicious" )

This "saying" is much more rude then the translation that's given here would imply and whoever even uses it, is an ***hole to begin with. So if you hear a guy say this, it's a big red flag to stay away from him.

I can't imagine that one would skip a beautiful woman just because of the color of her hair. So yeah, you are right, it is absurd.

Well, yeah. A perv won't miss the chance just because of hair color.

EXACTLY THE POINT: what makes a man 'GREAT' is not his nationality or his place of birth, its his make up, personality, state of mind etc etc. There are probably a great many 'good' polish men and a great many 'bad' polish men. This is the same for every nationality around the world.

The individual is not determined by his country of origin or not even his parents but his lessons, experiences, education, thought processes and actions.

Never a truer word. However, I think here in the UK Polish men do tend to come across as extremely polite, acting like real gentlemen, opening doors, buying flowers and being generally extremely attentive and respectful. This is from personal experience of having dated two Polish men, one of whom went on to become my boyfriend, albeit for a very short period. That is until he turned out to actually be a drug taking, boozing and eejit and a womanizing one to boot too. But the impression he gave me was a very different one at the start and an experience I have never had with English men. I've never had an English guy open a door for me, buy me flowers for no reason or treat me like I was gold. I hope this doesn't sound racist, it's certainly not intended that way, I think Polish men are just brought up to treat women differently. Obviously each individual is different but English men just seem to be more "loutish" in their behaviour, if that makes sense? Did I make sense at all here??

Who the hell have you been dating??? I can only conclude you have been with the wrong English men because I know and haved dated English men that have treated me as above...

I take offence to that since my brothers are well brought up with good manners and my father the same....

they got girlfriends? only joking.... in my younger days men used to be like gentlemen, but from what i have seen lately they seem to have lost it. manners seem to be a thing of the past....you give me hope that there are still some gentlemen out there. i like a man with good manners
