EXACTLY THE POINT: what makes a man 'GREAT' is not his nationality or his place of birth, its his make up, personality, state of mind etc etc. There are probably a great many 'good' polish men and a great many 'bad' polish men. This is the same for every nationality around the world.
Never a truer word. However, I think here in the UK Polish men do tend to come across as extremely polite, acting like real gentlemen, opening doors, buying flowers and being generally extremely attentive and respectful. This is from personal experience of having dated two Polish men, one of whom went on to become my boyfriend, albeit for a very short period. That is until he turned out to actually be a drug taking, boozing and eejit and a womanizing one to boot too. But the impression he gave me was a very different one at the start and an experience I have never had with English men. I've never had an English guy open a door for me, buy me flowers for no reason or treat me like I was gold. I hope this doesn't sound racist, it's certainly not intended that way, I think Polish men are just brought up to treat women differently. Obviously each individual is different but English men just seem to be more "loutish" in their behaviour, if that makes sense? Did I make sense at all here??
