We do have a saying in Poland that goes "Rude jest wredne" ( "Read head is vicious" ), but I can't imagine that one would skip a beautiful woman just because of the color of her hair. So yeah, you are right, it is absurd.

Found this site at the weekend and it's great! You get your regulars (yourself, dziwna, shelley, bartolome etc) and then you get some randomers like myself, who will hopefully become a regular!!

I am dating a Polish guy and I am head over heals in love with him for the person that he is. He is kind and respectful towards all people. He treats me with the greatest respect and treats me as his equal. I found true love and I wouldnt let him go for anything. And its not because he is Polish (although I enjoy learning the language and about the culture), its because he makes me happy and because we really truly love each other.

i agree the guy i am seeing is wonderful kind considerate it seems too good to be true, however he seems to think ill get bored because of the language barrier im trying to convince him but its hard to know if im translating well enough as i struggle with polish but he seems to understand when i speak but tends to speak in text more which i have trouble translating

hi shazza , glad to hear you have found one of these gorgeous guys , I am trying to speak slowly ( hard for an Essex girl ! LOL) and use simple sentences - but I find it almost impossible to speak to my man over the phone , too .......... just keep trying , I am sure that smiles and body language will say enough for both of you - GOOD LUCK !

I too have a Polish guy.. he didnt know any English when we met and used to text me in Polish, which I tried to translate on the internet. We have now been together for 2 years.. at times it has been challenging, both with the language and cultural differences, but I wouldnt change him for anything.
