Any Polish men in North-Holland?

Cześć,

I’m new to this forum . I’m interested in acquainting myself with Polish men for friendship, not marriage – I’m not that desperate yet :]

I’m a 34 year old white female, single and have two children aged 12 and 15 years old. I live in North-Holland [about 40 km from Amsterdam]. I’m also Catholic and a member of the neo-catechumenal way, if you are – then great!

Why Polish men? Well, the Polish men I know are very lovely – yet they are seminarians [so not available]. And Catholic Dutch men - with true Catholic norms and values - aren’t available – if there are, where on Earth are you?

In the Netherlands it was expected that 30.000 Polish men are coming to work here [seasonally] – so I’m interested to make your acquaintance :]

I don’t speak Polish, would love to learn though, but am fluent in English and Dutch. I moved to Holland when I was 16 – I grew up in Australia. Want to see what I look like? Go to bombus.nl/pics/doop2.jpg [photo was taken after my baptism during the Easter wake last April] – the baby’s not mine :] This little girl was baptised also.

Regards,

Daniëlle

Hi Decorator, four years in Holland eh? That's long enough to learn some Dutch, right? Well, at least a bit of 'Fries', which differs a bit from Dutch :]

You think Dutch is hard? I'm stil struggeling with Cześć... I tried to learn some Polish from one of the seminarians, but [this proves to show how gullible I am] I later discovered he were teaching me a few rude words...

I'm still reading though the posts - but it's nearly weekend and I have to go - unfortunately I don't have a pc at home yet [I've recently moved you see]... So will be back Monday.

Regards,
Daniëlle [Benedetta = my second name]

As far as I know there is a little polish community in The Hague. They call it "Klein Polen". ;-)
And as far as I know Brabant and Limburg are quite catholic provinces, so maybe there might live some Dutchmen with real catholic values.. ;-)

Maybe these links are also useful:

Veel succes Danielle! :-)

PS - That photo is really beautiful!
