My friend is going to London to meet up with his family and celebrate.

He has been so very tired at work whilst fasting!

Lent just doesn't have the same effect on people.
The Baha'ai equivalent is taken seriously.
During Ramadan, woe betide anyone who wants to take a cab just before sunset in my neck of the woods.

heh you are F**** idiont with head full of sterotypes. Have you been to Poland or just heard about Polish intolerancy ... So you should understand Poles who just hearded about Marokanians who forbid for Italians to celebrate Chrismasts in their schools ... ask Tatars (muslims) about Poles who live here form 500 years , and we will see If English/Germans live with their muslims together by next 500 years

Actually, I'm working every single day with polish people, and just be honest, you're not too open-minded. YOU are full of stereotypes, officially declared as a "free country" for just a couple of decades, so I can understand... I can sense the remainings of communism through their speeches, we'll just wait for the next 2 generations with new fresh ideas :)

I just watch wth curiosity on model choosen by for example Itlay, We have our system and it works form 500 years, Tatars who have different race and religion (muslim) live here and they can cultivate their religion and tradition. And in some EU countries it is forbiden or considered as bad or intolerant to have chirsmats in school or celebrate Eastern to not to offend other religions.

Ohhh you are so open-open mind ...

Yes I know that in some EU countries it is posible to come and offend native citizens in their country. But if you think that we will let sb come here (from countries where for being chriastian is deatch penalty, not changing way of thinking) you are wrong.

I see you consider catholic as intolerant/without open mind just form definition catholic=intolerant ... You shouldnt be surprised that there are people who think the same about muslim civilization. Personaly I m not to religous person but I m surprised that in EU it is posible to come to country and spit on native faces and they smile and pretend nothing have happend ...

Example of Tatars shows that we dont have to learn form anybody in this case, I m curios how long it will take for some nations that they shouldnt be so submissive ...

I have just noticed in your previous message the word "RACE" . So you believe in RACES, that's a good start... First of all, you can use the adjective "muslim" with the word "civilization", may be "arabic civilization", "muslim religion" will be correct, and just something new for your brain, not all arabs are muslims. Secondely, for exemple most indonesian people are muslims and they've got slit eyes like the chineses. Oh you're confused now!!! Don't use the word "race"... I really feel sorry for you

being Polish doesnt mean being White Slav (as majority of Poles) most of Polish Tatars are Poles too.

Everybody who shares our values , respect our tradition and our law, can be Pole.

As to civilization we are part of European civilization which has Christian origin ...

actually one of the kings in the good old days showed gratitude to the muslims as they supported poland in a war against another european nation,

catholocism is not totally narrow minded if you look at the colours of christianity, afro caribean, white, indian, pakistani, phillipino latino this is like islam a religion for all people.

any EID MUBARAK to everyone

i have been researching our presidents efforts to liaise with our communities and this was an excelelnt organised to create a sense of human unity in poland. mr lech organised an event to celebrate ramadan with the muslim community.. this chap is workign hard for the nation i wish him well and i know many people are against his systems but in the long run you will see the benefits.

european civilization dont have christian origin. Christianity came from east ... it is an eastern religion which the gentiles accepted. Its primary target were the jews of modern day arabia.

religion is a way of life, not a property of any civilization of man. it belongs to god, we just follow. when we try to capture it and make it ours, by holding it, grasping it or locking every way out for it, we end up with darkness only. just like light from sun, which belongs to the sun, but falls over us to give us energy and vision, but does not belong to us :)
