Hi! I've noticed some names have several name days, but which ones are the main, celebrated ones? For:
Aleksandra
Marta
Elzbieta
Mihau
Andrzej
Krzysztof

Thank you!

[I could be VERY wrong - but didn't somebody say once that it was the date closest to the person's birthday which is normally celebrated? If I'm wrong, ignore me!]

Yes this is how I (now) understand it. The first name day after your birthday.

This sucks:) I was gonna surprise someone by remembering their name days, but I don't know some of these people's birthdays..Hence, I won't know their name day. Oh well, never mind!
Thanks though:)

You can use the search engine here to find out more about name days though, then when you find out that someone's birthday, you can surprise them after it by knowing their name day :)

Shame, it's a nice idea. I only found one date for Aleksandra - 18 May. Pity there are loads for a couple of the others though... No way you could find their birthdays out from each other and still surprise them (a little) by knowing name days?

Aleksandra 18 May

Marta 19 January, 23 February, 18 March, 5 July, 29 July, 19 September

Elzbieta 18 June, 4 July, 8 July, 21 October, 5 November, 14 November, 19 November

Andrzej 6 January, 19 January, 4 February, 12 April, 27 April, 13 May, 16 maja, 12 July, 16 July, 17 July, 21 July, 1 November, 10 November, 30 November, 10 December

Krzysztof 2 March, 15 March, 25 July

So one name doesn't have 1 day? How is it decided upon which date is their name day then?

Thank you so much for listing them here! I think I could find a way to narrow my search down now to a couple of potential dates. Although it'll be hard- I know a Krzysztof who celebrates his name day on 25 July, even though his Birthday is in January and there are 2 other name days in-between....

Oh, and could you also please tell me when Jacub's name days are?

Think Micha³ is the correct spelling of one of the names I wanted to find out about. When is his name day please?
