There used to be a regular club in Edinburgh " Polished". Haven't heard of it for a while now, here is an exert from 2006 - "Lloyd McDermott, company manager with The Venue, said the Polished night was proving a big success. He said:
"The music is a mix of contemporary dance upstairs and more traditional stuff downstairs. It's going well and has proved great for us as they pack in 400 people on a Sunday night."

They still have Polish bands and DJs at the venue, might be worth giving them a call.

If this is happening in the summer there are loads of festivals and one off events. Further North you could get smaller venues, you would be lucky to get enough cash to cover the petrol but the crack would be good.

I'm assuming that it's a Polish 'club' night in a bar or club, you know the ones that sell wodka and have DJs.

Are there any other kinds?

Sorry, in a funny mood tonight ;)

sigh... :)

well, I suppose there are different styles of music so it could have been a night of one or another. Or it may have been a singles night or something...I dunno... :)

Hope BW answers soon...so you'll stop picking on me... ;)

There is a Polish night in Swindon wilts on March 21st in the apartment nightclub - it has won awards as one of the premiere spots in the south west :

theapartmentuk.com

I am promoting the night - any hints/tips would be appreciated to make the night go with a bang?
polishparty.com.pl/ are assisting in the event - they have been doing these parties already in Bath regularly.

I've had some good nights out at the Polish Cultural Centre at Ravenscourt Park (nr. Hammersmith), but are you meaning club nights e.g. with DJs rather than bands?

There is a Polish night every Sunday at the Sakura nightclub in Lincoln. As well as Polish film nights at the drill hall.
