Are Polish People Racist?

racism is defined as

1. a belief or doctrine that inherent differences among the various human races determine cultural or individual achievement, usually involving the idea that one's own race is superior and has the right to rule others.
2. a policy, system of government, etc., based upon or fostering such a doctrine; discrimination.
3. hatred or intolerance of another race or other races.

First off, i dont think i have called anyone a racist, just provided a different opinion.

Secondly, Im not sure making a generalisation about a region in the US amounts to racism. For me to be racist i would have to insult the whole american race.

You must first try to prove that "American" is a race.....

your just here for an arguments as most of those who say mean things about
other communities and other nationalities. yet you dont live there, so you cant
even imagine their views. what you see on the surface isnt always whats the
truth. and dont even tell my govt didnt have anything to do with it. Govt is
involved in every area on this planet.

that they are not part of your culture.

it would be so much easier to see it differently if you were on their end wanting
better.

How would you feel if it were? you had children who wanted to make friends
but because no one wants to be their friend and you moved your family to a
safer region to live and become part of that region and a citizen and learn
the culture. All of the sudden your rushing to the shool because one of your
children was beat up by other kids who were taught that people of other colors
are bad and steal and all are animals, and that your child was beaten senseless
and it was all over this fear instilled into these childrens heads from hating other
nations?

I am sure that the message is not clearly taught one way or the other as we seen
and have seen many times things like this happen. I would be devastated if it
was my child who was harmed or did the harming .

maybe because of the way us adults are percieving what is being said, how
would children understand it as? there is alot of issues that should be brought
to light when teaching them about preservation. one is to not teach that
color of skin is bad, because this is wrong message when telling them to preserve.

just my thoughts on the issue.

I taught my girls to respect everyone, no matter what color/nationality/religion. In life
we meet good and bad people no matter what they look like. My younger daughter
has a Master's Degree in Early Education, she loves teaching and has chosen to teach in
a diversified school to make a difference as she puts it. She is teaching her sons to
accept everyone for who they are. If parents teach negativity, the child will think that
it's O.K. to be that way. Children learn by example!

Just like as in common sense, when your born, you dont know everything, your
taught it, or learn on your own , its something you dont do or can do.

in the case where he went to harpo's, I am sure he was told its a bad area.
for many of us, common sense would tell us, this is not somewhere you sit
alone in a car. And especially at night, even in area's not known for this type
of behavior, it happens.

My suggestion, learning that this is the case. if your going to be risky, at least
do it with more friends. There is saftey in numbers.

Now if he wasnt told anything and completely unaware, from eye view of the area
you can tell its not safe, homes are abandon, and you dont see many places
without bars up on the doors and windows. so, warning signs were there.

what happened was unfortunate, he was out, had fun, car messed up
so his situation was grim. I know there is no excuse for that type of people
who rob and harm others. I never said anything like that.

its called respect. sometimes even that can get you out of a bad predictiment.

it should be teach your children to respect and treat others as you want to be
treated. otherwise. no one moves forward.

ps. just to clarify the above, in that situation, he had no choice. after already
putting himself there, its always best to just listen to the person whos robbing
you and try to stay calm.

So you say that most of Nigerians or Maroccans are well educated ? Or maybe they are dreaming to become Poles ?

Oh please... I'm not talking about such cases... I simply don't want to see here massive non European immigration (especially African, Arab and Pakistani) because that didn't work out very well in western Europe and I don't see why It should be better here.

Those who are trouble makers....are good for no nation and nobody. The world now reacts to her whole body. We get effected if one part of the globe is in turmoil.

However, Poland or any other country usually permits those people who are educated and sane. We should have good law and order.

If Nigerians and Moroccans are not as educated as the british... still that cannot be a reason to keep them away from the progress of the world... YOU ARE EDUCATED only when you share your knowledge, and strive for ways for the betterment and salvation of people who are deprived. Not by shutting your doors to them, or think that they better stay away.

I understand that these kind of people dont help in massive ways for a society needing massive steps towards development. But, these people are a part of this world, and if we cant have them into our country (which they wont make it either, legally, as they are deprived already). then atleast we can go and help them in some ways, so that they can gain enough strength to travel, and make their lives better.

Dont find the lesses in other people my friend....it does not make us more.

Take the example of the Poles. The EU let them travel and 2 million show up in the UK. Once the doors open, the Poles acted like bums at a country club. They rushed for the food and wine!!!

Point is, the EU should have never opened the doors for the Polish. The economy was not ready yet. And now, how many educated young people are left in Poland? Who is around to develop the economy of Poland?

Poland should not open the doors to the third world for the same reason. We would only be draining talent and young people away from those countries. Those people are needed in their own countries.

Also, 2 million poles in england can blend in. Same race and same culture. 2 million nigerians in Poland is a way bigger problem.

Also, I agree with Gregorz... Poland is a white catholic country and has been for centuries. We don't need all these muslim/african immigrants. Lets try to maintain our values and society. Sweden and the West are allready paying for their lax immigration policies.

hahaha, that the problem, Europe opened the doors, and now the immigrants still want to lead their ignorant lives. They don't want to get "educated" of the values of the west. haha

So, yeah, they should have just kept them out. Poland has an opportuniity to avoid these problems. Hopefully they will.

Cheaper labour - more saving - it's that simple. The solution is to pay more to their own workers. However, greedy governents will never change that politics and the tendency is getting stronger.
Another part of the very important info re bringing in immigrants is to populate some of the aging societies such as Western world in general.

to sum it up -those countires benefit a GREAT DEAL and I understand that problems with intergation is something they don't handle well.

The truth is that YOU need AMERICA. America does not need anybody. It will be just fine without you two, believe me.

France is also paying dearly in fact in the mid 2000's they expect the native french to become a minority in there own homeland. By this time the UK could also have a majority black population. We don't need to mention the USA because everyone with half a brain can see whats going on. When it all falls apart and you preachers of tolerance and diversity get stabbed in the back by the people you defend, hate to say I told you so. True. And no doubt we will need immigrants sooner than most of people realize, but they not nesseserly have to be Maroccans, Nigerians and Pakistanis. We should take first Poles from the east, second Belorussians, Ukrainians, Romanians, Bulgarians, Armenians etc. and then If nessesery some Chinese, Vietnamise or from India...
