She was impressed with the food. She always assumed that Americans ate just fast food and junk. she was pleasantly surprised that Americans don't eat as much crap as she was told.

lol.. that's not true.. american eating habits are terrible. there are plenty of fatties around.. i have no idea how you missed them all. there are by far more fat people then thin ones from what i can see.

If you're not an American and you don't live here, then what in the world can you possibly know (nie znac ale wiedziec) about OUR politics

Everyone knows about our politics because it's in everyones face. No matter where you live.

You're generalizing. I eat healthy as well as my family. Everywhere I took here she was given a healthy home cooked meal.

maybe you're just looking at the "fatties". Open your eyes. Anyway, she's from Poland and this is what she said. I'm not here to argue with you. It was an opinion form a person living in Poland....that's the topic.

My GF likes it in the US,

My friend agrees. He did just get his visa so he is happy. He calls life here his Amercian Dream. He has gradure dreams of making millions. We will see. He likes his free time.

Maybe it's just where we were visiting. NY-NJ-NC.

In my opinion that is it. Both coast seem to have very fit people, but the Midwest has sevely obese.

So did you vote for Kerry in the last election? Did you vote for Gore in the election before that? Something tells me you sway a little more to the left than you are admitting;)

Thanks to the constitution of my country, I don't have to tell any for whom I voted. But if you must know, I would NEVER vote for Gore - his wife was behind a HUGE censorship campaign in the late 1980's and early 1990's and as an artist I am animately against censorship in any way. I would never want her anywhere near the White house again.

And Kerry was an unlikeable moron. That election was best described by Matt Stone and Trey Parker in the South Park episode Giant Douche and Terd Sandwich (or something like that.)

She was also wondering where all of the obese people were. She heard that there's an enormous obesity problem, but only saw a few here and there and didn't see it as big of a problem that everyone makes it appear to be. Maybe it's just where we were visiting. NY-NJ-NC.

lol. It's probably the media over there that exaggerates it. There aren't many obese people in CA either.

NAFTA is not the same as the NAU will be. BELIEVE ME! And as I said, Clinton wasn't perfect.

Many of them die on the way - it's all desert there. If you took the hazards out of the 5+ day journey across the desert and removed any concern (and the guns aimed at the Mexican side of the border) about who was crossing that border, the influx would be staggering!

It's probably the media over there that exaggerates it.

I think the media over there (Poland) and Europe in general exaggerates about the USA.

I will say the people I saw in Poland were definitely more fit as a whole as opposed to the US, and being one who works in the medical field, I can tell you that obesity is a nationwide epidemic......seems though that even BW was surprised at the number of thin people he saw here.....as I said, I guess he assumed everyone was going to be at least 50 lbs overweight with a Big Mac in one hand and an apple turnover in the other. :)

i'd rather have dealt with gore then the devil in there now. i'd rather see a little censorship then spying, suspension of habeas corpus, wars, misery, messed up economy, high gas prices.. etc.. etc.. etc..

Then I hope that that's how you voted. Furthermore, I hope you savored the liberty of the vote you cast. We may no longer have it soon enough.

Most of them don't have the money for the driver service (I'm not kidding, it costs A LOT MORE). If you don't know, people pay for guides across the border. Oftentimes, people are told that it's a 2 day trip through the desert and they only bring a gallon (4.5 ltrs.) of water each. They often die of dehydration.

And even if they do have the thousands of dollars for a driver, sometimes they get left in the desert to die, locked inside the back of a truck. I always hear about that on the news. But obviously there is something about the US that people are willing to risk dying for.

As to America, your power should be moral power, of giving people freedom, after it you can take profit (McDonald invasion ;) ). But Iraq is wrong we are there with you but I think it is wrong war. That things shouldnt happen:

wewerr

What is interesting Iraqs citizens are happy there is no Saddam now, but the way you done it ...

Now you will have to pay a lot to repire your reputation.

But whose morals? Who is to say what freedom is? Do you see why we can't?
