I was wondering how many (maybe percentage?) Polish people can speak English?

There are a lot of Poles in Liverpool at the moment. I Don't now if its harder for us to understand them or them to understand us.

Anybody who has heard the Liverpool accent will know what I mean.

True. I find it hilarious when foreigners have been in Liverpool for a few years and Ive noticed their accents start to take on a Scouse twang.

I learned to do a good scouse accent when I lived there. (Polishes nails -without intending a pun).
A lot of the Polish in Dublin have Irish accents, even those who had good English before they came. Accents soak in.

I went to college in Liverpool and i'd imagine the Polish guys blend in quite well as scousers are also a bit over eager with the old home hair clippers.

Ha, haa. I did as well. And Bootle, and Rocky Lane. All the glamour spots. Bootle was the worst of the lot.
