Well, it`s a story of some naive people from some deep province in Poland - they`d got what they deserved for their stupidity. That gang that forced them to perform that kind of work has been arested so they will aslo get what they deserve.

Let me reassure you that there are no Mexican slaves in the states. They choose to come here and do whatever work yhey can find. If they aren't happy with the situation they may go back across the border at any time. Rest assured alot of Americans of all different nationalities wouldn"t be to upset.

the worst is the fact that the gang itself consists of Polish dudes. today there's another arcirlce on interia.pl - unfortunately in Polish about this kind of practics in Spain this time.

Actually it consists of Italians, Russians and Poles.



So you don`t know the (Texan) saying: "You fool me once - shame on you. You fool me twice - shame on me". It`s not that such stories haven`t hapened before.. that if you`re going to a different country you should know the language to be able to communicate (i.e. call the police).. and it`s not that there are no jobs here and employers have dificoulties findinf people to perform manual jobs.. and it`s also not that the government hasn`t introduced a law wich will allow Ukrainians, Russians and Belarusians to work on farms becaouse there are no people willing to perform such jobs.. So - I`d say - yeah - they`d recived what they deserved.

The only real mafia in Poland is that what hasn`t been disposed of after the abolition of SB (Security Service) and former military secret service - those people are involved in all kinds of illegal multi-billion dolar operations around the world since the last 17 years - and they`ve got their structures all over the World - inclouding the US.

That group who organized the recriutment to those camps were only petty criminals.

yah mafias in poland, there is about 400 known big gangs. but like wujek said the acuall "polish mafia" just like russian mafia is the sb's etc. but they are very quiet just like n e smart big time organization should be.
