Polish-speaking actor needed for my short film “The Pilgrim”

Hello,
I’m looking for a Polish-speaking actor for my short film “The Pilgrim”; a story about a young Polish immigrant (played by a different Polish-speaking actor) and the object of his affection, an attractive, but jaded Asian American girl, who spend a night together in a closed Polish deli, in NYC.

The character, for which I’m casting, is a likeable Peeping Tom, who finds himself in the end, sharing his thoughts about love (in polish), with the main character. Also, later on, during the post-production, there will be some dubbing involved.

For this particular role, I’m looking for an actor who’s in his mid 30’s (or looks around that age), is corpulent, and has a good-natured face. As it goes for acting experience, film or theatre background is required.

A demo-reel would be highly appreciated; same goes for the headshot, and resume.

We will be shooting either on March 26th or 27th, for 6-7h, starting around 9-10:00pm, in a polish deli, “European Delicatessen”, located in Middle Village, New York. If you are sure, you will not be able to work during those days, and those hours, please don’t respond to this post.

i got just the guy for you. He's a close friend of mine, he's currently acting on a tv series here in poland (some cop series) and he's 100% fluent in english as he spent about 10 years growing up in north america, when he speaks english he sounds, well, you'd never think he's polish by how he speaks english.

everything you've listed he's got so let me give you his info and you two can arrange the rest.

He is the perfect actor for this.

Off topic a bit but..........have you seen "Hallam Foe " ?
I rented it the other night because it is a Scottish film that has won a few awards.
It wasn't what I was expecting.....
Hallam is in his late teens and has developed a thing for voyeurism, he is convinced his stepmother killed his real mother. His stepmother has sex with him so he has to leave. He goes to Edinburgh and lives on the rooftops and voyeurs ( dont know proper terminology ) on people. He falls in love with a girl because she looks like his dead mother, he gets her to dress up in his mothers clothes. He becomes more convinced that his stepmother has killed his mother and then sets out to kill her. He sometimes wears make up and a badger on his head.

Like I said , it wasn't what I expected, but it was OK.
( I don't think I have given too much of the story away - theres more to it than that ).
