Polish-Speaking Actors from the U.S. Needed

Actors needed for low budget independent film set in the USA.

1 Male between the ages of 21-35
1 Female between the ages of 20-30
1 Male to play the father type, approximate age 50 or older
1 Female to play the mother type, approximate age 50 or older

All actors must:
speak Polish, and
speak English with a Polish accent

What's the film about?

My mom would be perfect!!!

Here's more information about the project:

The movie is a romantic comedy about a Polish immigrant who marries an American woman. He's a musician, so if you can sing and play the guitar, it's a plus but not necessary. The producers can work around it.

The older adults are going to have a small role and will play the lead character’s parents. They should be very expressive because they are going to be completely against the marriage.

The movie is set in Missouri and will most likely be filmed there. All actors need to be able to travel for filming. If needed, their travel and living expenses will be paid for by the producers.

There is still no date set for filming. The actors are still being auditioned. But the plan is to film this year.

If you know anyone who might be interested please let them know. They will be sent part of the script and will be asked to send us a video recording of themselves reading their lines.

It all depends on the role. If it's one of the smaller roles, the actors will only be needed for a few days for filming. The larger roles will require a minimum of three weeks. The pay is negotiable. However, it is a low budget independent movie so there are limited funds to distribute among all the actors.

Couldn't you do a search with sag ?

The producers have not achieved signatory status with SAG and would prefer non union actors. However, they are definitely going to go that route if necessary. They have a well known Polish actor in mind but would like to see who else is out there. If anyone knows anyone, please let them know. Thanks.
