Since we are all talking to each other in English!!....Well....we won't say any more about that!!...

Ok lets talk about empires (remember both no longer exist)
The Polish empire (Kingdom actually) was created through marriage, common relations, religious understanding, freedom of speech. The Polish Kingdom contributed to Europe - it saved Europe from Ghengis Khan in 1259 and 1287. The Poles stopped the Mongols by being a buffer to Western Europe. Thousands died. The kingdom saved Europe from the the Tutonic Knights (Nazis of the time) by defeating them in the battle of Grunwald 1410. The Brits were fighting with the Germans then, but learned a lesson there. The Kingdom saved Europe in 1683 when it defeated the Ottoman Empire (Turks) who had reached Vienna. The Poles saved Europe in 1920 when it defeated the Russian army when it tried to invade Poland.
The Poles were defeated in 1939 BECAUSE THEY WERE FACKED IN THE ARS!!!

The British empire was built on slavery, misery, invasion, murder. The English language was imposed onto the world which is why we all speak English. Maybe we should'nt say more than that...

"All is fair in Love and War" is what you said remember? again I tell you - no it's not.
And I tried to explain to you - that is a vile, immoral, cynical attitude to have without humility. It is not a mature response.

Hey ajgraham also don't forget that it was the Poles that broke the Enigma
code in the 30's and gave it to England just before the war. The Brits just kept up with the German upgrades. The Enigma machine contributed to the success over 70% of allied operations.

Yes you did play apart.......the problem was that.... The Germans added an extra rotor to the machine on the very first day they invaded Poland, which obviously f***ed everything up for the Allies.......To cut a very long and complicated story short which you obviously know F***all about Ogorek.....It wasn't until the Royal Navy had captured the Binary tables from one of the U'Boats in the Atlantic where they able to start reading the codes again......and just for the record......Britain did a great deal more than just keep up with "Upgrades" We invented the Computers which enabled the messages to be read in "real time" and "up to date"....Without them everything else would have been useless......So can i stick two fingers up at you??......but i always give credit where credit is due..... Poland did play an important part!

and if you hadn't of done all this.....who is to say the Germans or the French or someone else wouldn't have?......It was the Brits with Gen Montgomery who Planned the D-Day landings.....does that mean we are responsible for saving western Civilization?.......I think most people reading the above will just laugh!

If a police barracks is burned or if the barracks already occupied is not suitable, then the best house in the locality is to be commandeered, the occupants thrown into the gutter. Let them die there – the more the merrier. Should the order ("Hands Up") not be immediately obeyed, shoot and shoot with effect. If the persons approaching (a patrol) carry their hands in their pockets, or are in any way suspicious-looking, shoot them down. You may make mistakes occasionally and innocent persons may be shot, but that cannot be helped, and you are bound to get the right parties some time. The more you shoot, the better I will like you, and I assure you no policeman will get into trouble for shooting any man."

Ok what does that mean?

Moving on to

"I am convinced that the time has come for the British and the Indians to be reconciled to complete separation from each other. Complete and immediate orderly withdrawal of the British from India [...] will at once put the Allied cause on a completely moral basis. [...] I ask every Briton to support me in my appeal to the British at this hour to retire from every Asiatic and African possession. ... I ask for a bloodless end of an unnatural domination and for a new era. Leave India to God and if that be too much, leave her to anarchy, necessity for withdrawal lies in its being immediate."

Yes but I would imagine these incidents took place decades apart?....Is it fair to squash every single wrong doing that took place over centuries into a single sentence?

We haven't even began to cover one century! Both of these incidents took within a twenty year or so period.

Don't get me wrong I love England, regardless of all her wrong deeds in the past she is still one the greatest countries in the world!
