Polish time zone question

Here in America it is now 4:45 PM Wednesday afternoon. Germany is 6 hours ahead of me (I keep track via World Cup). How many hours ahead is Poland and does Poland just have one time zone throughout the whole country? That would keep things consistant and make things a lot easier.

ahhhh but don't forget that stupid Daylight Savings Time crap. Poland switches over i think it was 2 weeks before North America.

Another thing where north americans are behind the europeans.

I can say that cuz, i'm Canadian

Actually whole continental Europe is in the same time zone, for practicality I suppose, from Poland to Portugal. Except for Great Britain & Ireland, which are different in many ways and where continental six o'clock is actually five.

Winter/summer time change is coordinated though throughout Europe.

America has 4 time zones. depending what state you live in, it could be 6,7,8 or 9 hours difference.

You are not completely right. Portugal is in the same time zone as Ireland and Great Britain (GMT). The rest of continental Europa is one hour ahead (GMT +1). In the countries east of Poland GMT +2 starts.
