Is it a Polish custom for men to give a ring with their family crest on it as an engagement and wedding ring in one? I read this on a blog and haven’t been able to confirm it.

I would like to help you but I dont know what you mean. I think in Poland is no any difference in giving wedding rings than in other countries, it is the same custom like everywhere. But I might be wrong. the One ring is as engagement , the other one is giving during wedding ceremony.

Ahh thank you. This woman said she got a ring that acted as an engagement AND wedding ring. She made it sound like this was tradition.

You get the wedding ring when you marry, unless she got engaged and married at the same time.
Did you know that in Poland they wear their wedding rings on the right hand, and in the US on the left?
The groom in Poland stands on the left side of the bride, in US on the right.
The couple walk down the isle together in Poland, in US the father walks with the bride while the groom is up there already waiting.
