Damn ! They are picky !!

When they buy food they turn it over in their hands 20 times before comparing it against another similar item before then going back to the first one. If there's a sales assistant around then it's bad luck for them as they then get interrogated about the origins of the product, who the father of the dead chicken might be, and whether he was of good breeding stock !

However, Polish women also have a natural talent for cooking so all the preparation is worth it I guess :)

Now, what is wrong with wanting to select the best produce? Especially when it's going to be used in something you guys will eat! ;)

Nothing worse than buying a piece of fruit or something, only to get it home and discover it is going bad...

Gotta go with the ladies on this one.

Seriously!

In the last two weeks, I was burned by some bad mangoes. Normally my better half would have picked them out, but in her absence, it was up to me.

(It is nice to get in with the ladies however...)

After all, Shopping is Womens Work.

Only because men are absolutely useless at grocery shopping. ;) It doesn't matter how much you highlight it on the shopping list you'll always get the wrong size of milk, the wrong cheese, bread that goes out of date tomorrow, eggs that are cracked by the time you get them home and a six pack of beer that definitely was not on the list... :)

they pretend to be, so they don't have to. How difficult is it to buy a good mango???

Also, there are some who are really good at shopping. My father is, but he had to learn.

Kind of hard when you are steering clear of those women who don't know how to drive a shopping cart.

(Is it any wonder the eggs are cracked???)
