Hello Im new to this and this is my first post.

I have just started dating a Polish girl and I just wanted to know what to expect? Are they like alot of English girls (and guys too?) and just move on when they are bored or meet someone better? Are they like western guys? I mean she seems really nice and we met when we were out one night?

Also its valentines day soon and I want to write something really nice in her card in Polish, can anyone give me any advice on that and write something in Polish for me?

Welcome Ultravox.

What to expect:

Once the horns are done growing, they kind of grow on you. Other than that they are like any other girl you may meet.

There is a thread or two dedicated to Valentines / Greetings message ideas.

Good Luck.

Maybe first you could describe the Polish girl what she is like?

You almost answered your own question. She must like you. And there's no big difference betwen Poland and UK now so a "Western Guy" doesn't suit very well in your case. Learn to get a good job to keep up with her.

Some simple messages in Polish:

Lubie Cie - I like you
Lubie byc z Toba - I like being with you
Kocham Cie - I love you
Chce Cie pocalowac - I want to kiss you

Good luck.

welcome!
midgeure, i think you should figure out how she is by yourself... somebody here may give you a false idea, and it leave you with doubts... just let this relationship go and be yourself
good luck :)

You will need to have these spelled out phonetically.

There is no such difference between Polish girls and English girls! Some of them have more morals and values than others; that's for sure... like in every other culture/country.

Cos in England, English people are always cheating, getting divorced, moving from one person to the next...this is most people in their 20's and 30's is this the same as Poland?

Do you really stand by this comment ? It seems like an over the top stereotype to me.

Some people here cheat, get divorced and move on to the next person without saying goodbye to the last.
