i suppose that maybe foreign men seem more 'exotic' and interesting, and the curious creatures that we are, we want to see what its like being with somebody from a different country/culture. you can learn so much, and teach them a lot about yourself and your customs, too.

Maybe it is because we are more affectionate. I am American and my wife is from Poland. During my first trip to Poland and subsequent trips, the Polish women were all staring me down and smiling. I held hands with my wife (who was my girlfriend at the time), or had my arm around her. I noticed that the Polish men didn't do that with their wives/girlfriends...

simply because dating a 'foreigner'/'different race' is somewhat exotic.
Moreso, polish women, for example, seem to be able to drop their inhibitions when they are with someone other than their own countrymen.

I've grown up with Polish family and I've never met a Polish woman who likes black men, in fact I would say that most of them were disgusted when I asked if they would be interested in a black man, and some were very un-ladylike in their replies. In my experience, most Polish women prefer Polish men and that is partly why Poland is not as multicultural as some other places, likewise we Polish men prefer our own women and would rather not mix with others unless we really have to. You never hear anyone saying "oh wouldn't it be great if Africa was more multicultural, more white" so why are Poles called racist because we prefer Poland to be Polish? We're not, we just like our own culture! That said, I quite like Black and Asian women but I would never touch a German or Russian, ever!!!

Perhaps its simple more Polish women now have the oppurtunity to meet foreign men because of the EU, and maybe, just maybe love. Funny old word that "love", in this age of cynicism.

It may be true as I spent a nice night talking to some Polish girls in a pub and they all said that they found it interesting to talk to me ..as a foreigner and from a different country and mindset..So there may be a bit of truth in that ..

But I think they only a small percentage of Polish women like foreigners and its only when they are young and in the mood to experiment..say beetween 20--24... and then its generally Polish men they prefer who live in close proximity and are there to support them emotionally physically and otherwise.

I wonder if that makes sense

My boyfriend is from Toronto and Im polish we met in England and fall in love. Now im sure i was waiting for him i think that i would never find so caring sweet helpful polish man.
We r living in England hollidays in Canada, Easter in Poland :)
I know he is Canadian so far away but as for me the most important is that finally i found my true love :)
