I'm not sure how you count floors in UK/USA, but I heard otherwise.

In Poland
Street level = "parter"
Next level = pierwsze piętro

It's different in UK and USA. In UK we use "ground floor" but in USA that would be "first floor".

aluminum/aluminium = aluminium (as a commonly used material), glin (Al) - as a chemical element
