Mania (diminutive for Marianna or Maria) - Marianne/Mary Ann or Mary

dziadek:
żagiel - sail

single-handed sailor - żeglarz-samotnik
However, I once saw it translated to Polish as "jednoręki żeglarz" = one-handed sailor :)
