For all of you Polka fans in the New Jersey area, I just received word from the Polish American Cultural Center that there is going to be a weekend of Polka in the Wildwood NJ area.

Go to polkaspree.com

I have no commercial interest in the event, but I wish I lived near enough to go!

Polska is Polish dance :) Pulka (polka) is a Czech word (half) "half beat"

I was born in Jersey City, lived in North Arlington, Lyndhurst, Wallington, North Plainfield
but I can't imagine where Elmwood Park is. Is it out in the Paramus area?

I guess I've been out of Jersey for too long!
