Football Fives is constructing Australia’s first purpose built outdoor five a side football centre. Due to open in September 2011, the 9 fully enclosed pitches are located at the brand new Eastern Recreational Precinct, at the corner of High Street Road and George Street, Wantirna South (adjacent to Eastlink).
Football Fives offers a full service recreational facility with plenty of parking, modern changing rooms with secure lockers, a licensed café with indoor and outdoor dining and big screen TVs playing the best football matches from around the world. The centre is operated by professional venue staff with a wealth of experience in five a side football.
Five a side football is a game that’s taken off in the UK. It’s quicker than usual football, with only four outfielders and a 'keeper on a smaller pitch. The ball stays in play, because pitches have rebound walls. Imagine football in a cage! It’s the perfect game for an after-work match, High Speed, High Skills, High Fives and always fun.
Football Fives employ fully trained and qualified FFV referees making your match a consistent and safe experience.
We run leagues and tournaments for mixed, mens, women’s, corporate and young boys and girls teams every weekday night and weekends. So whether you’re serious or social, everyone is catered for at our new Football Fives centre.
