PLEASE, PLEASE help me find Polish restuarants in South Australia.

Czesz everyone, My Polish wife and i live in Adelaide and have been searching for ages trying to find ANY Polish restuarants. If anyone knows any restuarants not matter how far (not interstate!!) we would be so greatful. Thanks in advance

the only thing my mum could point out was the polish club. i am sure if you did a google search it should come up. sorry couldnt be of more help, if you happen to come to melbourne thenlet me know as there is 1-3 restaurants plus 2 polish clubs.

HERE'S THE PROBLEM...THIS IS ADELAIDE-AND WE'RE A BIT BEHIND HERE IF YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN...LOOK...THERE ARE A FEW CLUBS AROUND EG. DOM KOPERNIKA, MILENIUM, POLONIA,DOM POLSKI BUT THE PROBLEM IS THAT REALLY THEY'RE HANG OUTS FOR THE 70+. I'M ASSUMING YOU'RE YOUNG AND IF YOU ARE THEN THESE WOULD BE A WASTE. DOM POLSKI WOULD BE THE BEST OUT OF ALL OF THEM. IT'S ON ANGAS ST IN THE CITY. THEY MAINLY CATER FOR FUNCTIONS BUT I'M PRETTY SURE THEY DO LUNCH/DINNER ON WEEKENDS. THEY HAVE NEW YEARS PARTIES AND CHRISTMAS 'WIGILIA' AS WELL. IT'S A SHAME THAT THERE'S NO RESTAURANTS. I'D LOVE TO TAKE MY HUSBAND TO A POLISH RESTAURANT.

Krakus doesnt have very gd food. Try Standom Smallgoods although they have a wide variety of food they arent a restraunt though as arent Krakus. Standoms sells alot of Polish food and you could possibly have it at your own home. Krakus also stores some of standoms products.

I've been yesterday in new polish restaurant on Tapleys Hill Rd which is called KNAJPA and ... I have to say, I am very happy and surprised. Honestly, I may recommend you this restaurant. There is very good food, old stylish place, the prices are not so high ... maybe the location is not excellent, but I will be a frequent guest there in the near future. Schabowy - rewelka !!! :)))

Stay away from Knajpa. They take 2.5 hours to serve the first meal for a table of 4 and then you have to wait another 20 mins for the last person to receive their food. And if you like burnt food - KNAJPA is the way to go! It's expensive and extremely disappointing.

Yes, Knajpa is too expesive but only for some kind of people...
Everybody can check the prices before visit KNAJPA.
Just visit knajpa.com.au for menu and booking.

I only know of two Polish restaurants in Australia - one in Melbourne (but it is more of a vodka bar) and one in QLD. THe one in QLD is very good - it's called The Polish Place, and it's on Tamborine Mountain. The food here is very yummy, very homestyle and reminds me of my mother's cooking in Poland. If you ever go there, try the Roast Duck with cherries. It is absolutely devine - you get a whole duck!!

Next time I go to Adelaide I will try Knajpa - I miss my mum's cooking, so any chance I can get pierogi or bigos I'm there!

there's one in Perth as well on Beaufort Street, Mt Lawley called Rembrandt. Havent been yet but its meant to be quite good. Might have to try it soon as beginning to miss the food badly!!

Knajpa Polish restaurant has closed down, please update your information guys. There are no Polish restaurants in Adelaide, you're better off just getting Pierogi from Standom on Tapleys Hill Road or mamas Pierogi on Port Road.. Xx
