I would love to meet Poles. Managed to strike up a conversation with a few that I met down in Sydney. A couple of them were young and seemed really unhappy to be here, but i won't let that deter me. Sometimes I feel (and I know this from being in the UK too) that poles aren't really happy wherever they are. lol.

let's hope the polish club in the city and disco in Ashfield will be rekindled.... Come on Poles, it's up to you!

Polish Club Ashfield disco are back every Saturday night with awesome music from the 1980's and early 90's. plus the occasional Polish music in between.

Plenty of beer choices like Okocim, Zywiec, Warka Strong, Zamkowe just to name a few.

The disco started on 13 November 2010 and are on each Saturday night all welcome.

Start of disco from 20:00 "8:00p.m" every Saturday night

Hi Dobruska,

I'm keen.
It's a ways for me, but I want to visit the club before I leave Sydney.

I don't speak Polish (because I'm not Polish) but would be interested to chat with you about your move here and about Polish/ Aussie issues generally.

I'm free next Thursday for a Tyskie. PM me if you don't get a better offer. ;)

All the best.

Well many places are good places to visit... but Australia's tourism is well renowned. I think you and your missus would have a wonderful time here. (Just make sure you don't hit any recent disaster zones...)

It's everyone's maybe someday place cause it's alllll the way on the ''opposite'' side of the world. ;)

why did my post go to random coz of southern's inability to contribute to a thread in a mature fashion.
