I always find it difficult to understand Polish citizens telling other nationalities to stay away from Poland.

What about Poles invasion of UK & Ireland? Sent 4 Billion euros to Poland in 2007 alone--affecting the local economies of UK & Ireland?
Destroying public services such as Healthcare, Education (with overcrowded schools), Welfare benefits(claiming benefits for children living in Poland)..etc

Filios1, We don't also want Poles in UK & Ireland! Poles always take from people and never give back (parasites). It was partly because of Poles, the Irish voted against the Lisbon Treaty. If Poles don't want other people coming to their country, they should show some examples and stay in Poland!

Other nationalities are allowed to stay in Poland except arabs and all kinds of muslims blacks and asians. Do not confuse politeness with stupidity. I agree i was married in Poland and i stayed here to receive my resident card and so on..... I dont think this is about racisim its just that in all countries getting visa's and so on is a hassel.

Ive got a residence card for Poland only because I had to to buy property what a joke that was. Poles come to England and they can do what the hell they want, and me residency card! I was like ohh for fcuk sake whats all this about.

Nobody in the council office had a clue what was going on or what they were doing anyway then they asked me if i was a threat to national security.

I am Algerian just like you but i don' have a problem to get any country visa even the united states !!! why , because my parents gave a good image to us , why don't you do the same thing and give a good image to the country so your sons won't feel like you when applying to a visa???

What do you expect people in struggling countries to do when they see that there are better opportunities elsewhere? You expect them to NOT give it a shot? What kind of irrational decision would that be?

We live in capitalist societies that thrive on attracting consumers to the variety of products being produced, a lot of money goes into making a pack of cigarettes appealing and therefore desirable, and a lot of money goes into making the western way of life appealing, therefore desirable, and therefore prone to attract new consumers from all corners of the globe...

So it's only normal that these places have become centers of gravitation for the human race in general, the society says "CONSUME!" and people are coming from all over and all walks of life in hopes of being able to do just that, because this is the way western life is packaged...so everything is working as it should really.

I think that old Europe already suffer from your invasion. Don't you know what's going on in some countries? Remember France, Holland? People from above mentioned countries (black countries) are getting the same rights and then are trying to set their own rules and laws in that country. They demand better life's conditions from the governments than native people have. Why?
Let's consider American society: white Americans already are afraid of everything now: to say an incorrect word, to look incorrectly. Is it should be so? I am not sure. how can you rebuild your own country when half of your country is embroiled in conflicts? Still many people try to "rebuild" but they are way outnumbered. ANyway most of these countries are ruled by strongmen who simply jail or murder those who try to change things...they are powerless...

And many immigrants don't "live off of" the work of others, they come here and face an entirely new set of challenges... the basic idea of getting a job and settling in your new home is a challenge. Now you have more people fromm poor countries entering universities and acquiring skills so things will hopefully look different in two or three decades..

Not long ago I watched a very interesting documentation about a group of people (they concentrated on a young woman here though) from a country in central Africa during their odyssey over the continent to their dream Europa.

It was horrible! She left two little children back home, the journey was paid with lots of hard cash, she had to travel for months on a rattly van, always hungry, always thirsty...many died along the way....two times their handler left them to die for in the desert...a new handler wanted to be paid anew...on the sea at last now the dangerous trip with a leaky boat awaits her, did I mention that another handler wanted to be paid?

In conclusion this woman put so much energy, so much fight and not at last so much money (thousands of dollar) into her dream just to end up as a prostitute if she makes as an illegal alien into Europe at all that is that I always wanted to ask her why she doesn't put all that energy and all that money into a life at home???
She would had been better off..not to mention her children!

PS: Just for your info - she didn't make it! The police got her after her boat crashed on an an european island!
Back to Africa for her...will she try it again? Probably...Will it help her or her country? Probably not!

It often isn't worth it, but people have misconceptions about the US and parts of Europe, so it's just like I said in my previous post, about brand-building in the West and ow this attracts all sorts of people from all walks of life. I met a couple of Americans in Augustow who pracctically moved here after communism fell. They said that when they first came, they were like rock stars for the simple fact that they were Americans, and people had all sorts of misconceptions about USA. They would have given an arm or a leg to live the life they imagine Americans lived.

So let them stop whatever it is that causes the conflict and get to work.


If they are outnumbered then isn;t that a sort of democracy? The rule of majority after all. Since the majority created them mess and sticks too it then the majority thinks it's OK the way it is. Also, if the majority is happy then who are the minority to say thing are bad. If they prefer to leave they should apply for visas to various countries of interest.

Btw. hopping on a boat and just rowing towards Europe is not the same as applying for a visa.

Let's say the cause of conflict is political, that some strongman won a rigged election...and now people are protesting, getting attacked by the army, etc...

India is a very very rich country - yet they still come here in their droves - they have poor infrastructure because they DON'T care about the common working person. You know English doctors go the 3rd word countries in their own time at their own expense to help! Do the Afrian and Asian doctors that are trained in the UK go back and contribute to their own countries...do they fcuk! They DON'T care! It's a case of look at me I did good and fcuk you! These are the people that could make a difference and educate their own people, but they turn their backs on them. Well thank goodness we are growing in the EU because it means less and less jobs for these people in Europe, and if the jobs are not there the visas wont be issued!

Read a little bit about English history and our politics, read about the reform acts that the common man made happen, read about the acts that were passed to protect children, read about Emiline Pankhurst who fort for the rights for women to vote - do you think Europe was always so civilised? NO! we made it happen, WHY? so a load of 3rd world immigrants could come over and abuse the systems? NO!

Really? Can you show me where this has been documented? In a way that would make sense, because in the end, what each individual wants is just to be happy, but It's still hard to believe that only white Europeans are so selfless as to go to third world countries to help.

Its not selflessness... its a point of wealth where you want self actualisation.

However, there have been easterners too ... like Gandhi in South Africa... There have been early missionaries bringing monotheistic religion in europe. There have been kind people everywhere around the world.
