not a £47.88 up front charge like you are suggesting

I make lots of calls to Poland during the day, and I only pay £0.05 per min by going through 0844 200 9898.

Sheesh, you really think that Poles are gullible. Sorry, but if you come on here looking for free advertising, expect to carry the consequences.

You have got you sums wrong (sorry) or have miss read the price £0.027 (it's just under 3p per minute) or you could pay a service charge of £5.99 per month and get unlimited phone calls to poland,or anywhere else on the list(up to 1hr in duration per call)....take a look at euTALK ULTRA...That would be a better deal for people who would like to call during the day

Where so you see that? I pay £0.05 per minute with my 0844 number - there is no 5p connection fee.

I agree, and I use skype when I call my mate in Warsaw. However, as a Journalist I have to call various people in Poland during the day and it's just not practical to use skype. That's why I use the 0844 numbers that are found on moneysavingexpert.com

I'm on vodafone & the problem i had was that my polish friends only have mobiles, you can add on a service with vodafone where you can call any mobile in any country for 75 min for £9.99 previously £1.25 per min!

godial.co.uk/en/ or in polish language godial.co.uk/pl/ is the BEST - EXCELLENT SOUND QUALITY

I use this service from one year, but is great only from MOBILE UK to LANDLINE in POLAND only
p0,5 per minute

problems are when we call to POLISH MOBILE receiver in POLAND dont hear us :( and service is available only from MOBILE and USE our free MINUTES for LANDLINE CONNECTIONS

but from HOME I use only SKYPE :D from month by month SKYPE have better SOUND and VISION QUALITY and is completely for FREE :D

thats mean if caller saying st, receiver hear, but we dont hear receiver in POLAND, this provider have EXCELLENT for only £0,005/min calls from MOBILE UK to LANDLINE POLAND, but useless connection to MOBILE PL

Make FREE calls to Poland on BT Landlines

A friend told me about 07822.co.uk

Dial 0870 494 5252 from BT landline with anytime calling plans you can call Poland for free.

This is the link to the BT website which shows that calls to 0870 are now free

Be careful BT haven't excluded that particular tel no as a "banned tel no". Use it once and then check your phone bill to see if you have been charged.

There are several telephone companies offering calls at 1 per minute to Poland. There was one offering calls at 0.05p a minute but I think that has been blocked now.

Another option is Skype. For around £ 4.00 a month you can call any landline in Poland free of charge using your broadband connection.

spiritus is correct above. BT have banned the free calls using the 0870 numbers.

TO DIAL POLAND FROM A UK LANDLINE

Dial 0844 862 9933 to call a Poland landline for 1p per minute.

Dial 0871 518 9933 to call a Poland Mobile for 6p per minute. (Centertel, Era, Polkomtel, TPSA)

Dial 0911 553 9933 to call a Poland Mobile for 15p per minute. (other networks)

ender - just be aware that the 0.5p rate has a 5p connection charge.

There is also topupdial.co.uk - they are also 0.5p per min to Poland landline. Instead of just the £5 credit option, they have a £3 credit option too.

Topupdial have the 5p connection charge too but it is still cheap.

20 minute call = 20 x 0.5p = 10p + 5p (connection) = 15p

It's still cheaper than the 1p per minute deals (they would be 20p for a 20 mins call)

Totally agree here as I have been using this for over a year now and I also travel outside of the country and have used it all around the world for as long as I like for £3.95/month.

please don't use parrottel.com they are dodgy. Last month I used they service after checking their prices 1p fixed; 1p mobile. at the end £5 top up last for 20min (call to Orange) callcheaper seems to be cheapest 4p mobile + 5p coonection fee

You can dial Poland for 3p direct from your mobile phone without using any calling cards, text service or other service.

You can use the service-

If you are T-Mobile (pay monthly or pay as you go)
If you are Orange (pay as you go)
If you are 3 (pay monthly or pay as you go)


For Poland Landline at 3p per minute

Dial 290358, then press the send or green key, then dial the international number (don't press call at the end)

For Poland Mobile at 9p per minute

Dial 290958, then press the send or green key, then dial the international number (don't press call at the end)


It's that simple. The call charge gets added to your mobile phone bill at 3p or 9p.

Because this service can be used direct from the mobile - I think this will be the end of a lot of the international calling schemes.

Thanks for your reply. I m dialing a polish mobile and because it's 9 digit no. I have problem connecting using a calling card. The calling card i use is "white".
But if i dial from my mobile, there's no problem but its expensive as you know..
Please let me know if you have any cheap alternative to call a Poland mobile.

From your (uk) mobile, text the word SAVE to 87887 and get £5 worth of calling credit (the text will cost you £5). Then from your mobile, call 02920 077007, which is a normal uk number, so it will be included in your monthly free minutes, or charged at your mobile providers standard rate. You can then dial your Polish number for just 1.5p a minute.

Alternatively, if you have access to a UK landline, dial 0844 605 3333, followed by the Polish landline number. This will cost just 1p a minute. If you're calling a Polish mobile, then dial 0844 909 3333 first - this will cost 4p a minute.
