It works so I roll with it.

You'd be very surprised :0

Like you'd know :)

I wasn't saying you personally. Just people generally.

I don't know if this is an answer to my post (you could quote from time to time), but if it is then:

It works so I roll with it.

OMG... It doesn't say anything good about you. On the contrary.

You'd be very surprised :0

LOL Tremendously :)

Like you'd know :)

?

I wasn't saying you personally. Just people generally.

But nobody wrote in this thread that he/she doesn't like Scotland :) You flew off the handle for no reason. It was kind of funny considering how you like winding Poles up, how much satisfaction it gives you and how you look down on them because of the fact they fall for your bs :)

What is bad for Poles in Scotland?

Today...the weather ;)

It can't be worse than here. It was SOOOO stuffy and airless, then a massive storm came but didn't clear it up. My flat is like a sauna and I need to go out to the corridor to get fresh air. The weather is awful here.

Not always :) From time to time. You can be very funny sometimes and I just couldn't help myself this time :]

A tittle-tattler is in our midst ;)

How we say in Poland: "Przyganiał kocioł garnkowi" :D

What is bad for Poles in Scotland?

You, if you'd stay in Scotland :P

Get a room!!!! :P

It would end up in bloodshed :D We don't want that, do we? :)

? So scotish or welsh or both? did you make your mind ultimately?

I'm Scottish, but also have roots in Ireland. I was brought up as a child on Skye, then spent my teenage years in Ayrshire. Most of my mothers side of the family are from Ireland.

We don't want that, do we? :)

Is it that time of the month...

*hangs head in shame but really couldn't help it (Scottish humour;) *

Dtaylor5632, please tell me that not all Scots are like Seanus ;O I used to have a kind of soft spot for Scottish men, but now... OMG ;S

Well, it could be worse - you could ask if I'm a virgin and you didn't ;)

Good old Scottish humour. There is great banter in pubs there. Why would it be bad for Poles?

Couldn't help yourself, exactly :)

Many are, many aren't. Doesn't matter where you are in the world, you will meet people you get on with or don't. Personally I like Seanus, he's a good guy ;)

you could ask if I'm a virgin and you didn't ;)

I am sure there is. Now if they only spoke a little more understandable English, everything would be perfect.

>^..^<

M-G (has huge trouble sometimes understanding the Scots, just like the ppl from Derry and surrounding area)

Ceut mille fhailte, zetigrek :) Ciamar a tha sibh? Dè tha thu a dèanamh?

An toir thu dhomh pňg? Answer Cha toir, ach bheir mi dhut sgailc!, LOL

Nach i tha teth an-diugh, David?

David's question to me, Cň an caora sin cňmhla riut a chunnaic mi an-raoir? ROTFL

My answer, Cha b'e sin caora, 'se sin mo chèile a bha innte!, LOL

A bheil Gŕidhlig agaibh, zetigrek?

This is maybe why Scotland (west coast) is bad for foreigners, LOL. I can only imagine their faces after the above. Especially with the particular pronunciation. It's pretty hard but ok when you get into it. I know Doric dialect MUCH better :)

The same is with you apparently :)
You remind me of one Pole from the internet, he's over 70 (he's half Polish, half Czech) - funny how people of different nationalities and ages can be alike.

I remember taking my ex fiancee to Portree to meet some of my friends. On the bus there 2 old ladies were speaking in Gaelic, my ex's face was a great funny picture. She turned to me with a worried look thinking that she would understand nobody. The old lady looked back and told her in English, if you cant herd your sheep, maybe you should marry the man who can ;) :D:D

You must be an evil man then ;)

No, I just try to get on with everybody. I've had my falling outs with Seanus, but we have a mutual respect ;)

OK ;)

Not that it matters :D

Like I said before, it doesn't matter where you're from.

So what brings you to do battle with the Scots Paulina? :)

The Scots understand each other quite well, Paulina. Dave and I like the patter and that's that. He's a good lad :) It's just an internet persona and you take it quite seriously. The Poles are easy to wind up and they take the bait hook, line and sinker :)

It's quite easy Gaelic, really. Dave might translate it. If not, I can.

No, I just try to get on with everybody.

Ah, I get it. I was like that some time ago, but realised that some people just don't deserve that :P

Not that it matters :D

I don't get it :P

So what brings you to do battle with the Scots Paulina? :)

The need to fight injustice ;D
Boredom + hot weather + I wanna polish my English ;)

It's just an internet persona and you take it quite seriously.

The internet shows the best who you are, I think.

The Poles are easy to wind up and they take the bait hook, line and sinker :)

You are easy to wind up too :)
And I don't like that you enjoy winding people up so much. It's so low and petty...

but realised that some people just don't deserve that :P

They dont, maybe thats why Ive had a few falling outs on here :P :)

I don't get it :P

Me too to be honest :)

Boredom + hot weather + I wanna polish my English ;)

You cant Polish the English, they wont take too well to Bigos :P

It's so low and petty

It called banter, Seanus probably regards you highly since you answer him back :)

The internet doesn't show who you are, really. There is no substitute for real contact with people and not key tapping.
