Hello People From Poland!

First, introducing myself: I am Levi, from Brazil, and i am in Poland since June (and i will be till first week of August).

I am really enjoying this place, and i wanna ask for advice to all of you about a thing:

Walking on the malls and the commercial centers here, i noticed that you have very good prices of clothes (compared to my country), so i wanna buy a LOT of things! Like trousers, coats, etc.

But after Poland, i will go to England, and some friends from here (polish people) said to me to wait and buy in England, because there the prices of the same clothes are even better!

I cant imagine how it is possible, because the prices here are really great, so i would like to ask to you all if that is really true, i mean, in England (London) the prices are really even better or i should buy everything that i want here in Poland?

Jeans = rather expensive in Poland. I dont know about England.

You can find rather cheap in Germany (if you are in Western Poland).

I guess you can find cheaper clothes in Ukraine. If you are in Eastern Poland.

Nearly always yes. The UK is a more developed market - meaning many more shops, therefore much more competition between shops leading to more discounts and sales.

Also the Zloty is quite a strong currency right now, whereas the Pound is not.

I know a few Poles who shop for clothes in England, and whenever I fly from England to Poland, the plane is full of shopping. Flying from Poland to England it is not.
And Jeans, Shirts and Jackets?

Much cheaper.

Clothes are cheaper and in higher quality. I still have some from Debenhams. Not to mention about shoes. They are several times better than in PL. After spending L60-70 you are happy and not afraid of hidden surprises.

Prices of Clothes in Poland

At the shopping mall in Warsaw, I bought some clothing at H&M store. The blouses were approximately $15.00 each (American dollars.) The cost in the United States would be roughly $20.00 each. Some of the clothing tags indicated, the products had been made in Poland.

A sincere thanks PF, for putting up with me FIVE terrific years, muah!

Clothes are cheaper in Poland, because they are inferior quality.
