JestemHaley: Anyways-- I was wondering what things in both cultures are really similar? These could be proverbs, jokes, drinking toasts, slang words etc. The Irish use of the English language and the Polish language are very different.
MareGaea: 1) they both are Catholic and for ages dominated by the Catholic church 2) they both like to drink alcohol 3) they both like to party 4) they both like to put themselves down in jokes and the like And we have had a lot of trouble in our separate histories.
You might find this interesting JestemHaley : Celts in Poland.
