Having read and heard conflicting reports I would be grateful if someone could help clear up the situation re uk driving license in Poland. i have a modern EU style license issued in UK. I've read conflicting reports as to whether this is valid for more than one year from arrival.

I'm obviously only now getting my finger out having been here for a year! Any advice gratefully accepted.

EU licences are valid until they expire.

No need to exchange, or do a damned thing.

However, if you have permanent residency - it's a drawback because you must pay fines on the spot.

Nice one, thanks.
Already experienced the fine for parking. They didn't believe I lived here. 100zl on the spot.
