Looks like the Tories are going to win, according to the exit polls.

What do you think about the upcoming results? Do you even care?

My thoughts are a bit mixed really. On a Scottish view point this could be bad or good.
Bad because only one seat in the whole of Scotland is Tory (South Ayrshire) and this would mean that Scottish interests would not be up-held in Westminster.
Good because if you're pro independence and an SNP voter like me, this would be a very good argument for Independences, basically how can Scotland be governed by a party (In Westminster) when it has clearly shown its against the Tories...hmmm interesting night ahead I think.

if i was in the UK i'd vote Lib Dem. I dont really care about those other two.

I'm sure the Conservatives will get in again, that slimey little rat fcuk and his side kick will prevail.

Well technically they did get more votes than Labour last time.

Though I personally hate them, never answer a question straight and Mr "I once met a <insert person or thing here> in the past and they said to me <insert soundbite here> Cameron

The sad fools do. Us paddies bait the shyte out of the Bits for decades and they gave us fook all. The scots expect the Brits to hand over power without a bullet being fired.

Loons.

Simple the people of the UK do not believe in the political parties enough to vote one of them into power!

Hence why it's a hung parliment!

Just means its back to the polls in 18mths time to do it all again .. but who gives a shite .. country is to pan anyways!

That's a bit harsh given how Scotland has pumped oil money into Westminster over the years. Without NE oil, England would be MUCH poorer.

Well, maybe. We need to get independent tax-raising powers in Scotland first, then we'll see.

Without NE English tax money,

ROFL -
Scotland has an annual surplus of £1.2 billion a year.

UK national debt stands at £848.5 billion.

The Union is costing Scotland dear.

Thanks to the morons Blair and Brown, both Scottish. Still, Alex Salmond seems to have a bit more savvy and can get us that most needed referendum.

The Conservatives have produced several slimy toads over the years. Hague, Cameron and Portillo being the 3 that spring to mind. It has become such a globalistic world that who really cares who gets in? The politics of 20 years ago are not the politics of today.

All parties have spent so longer trying not to be neither left nor right and to please everyone, that they do all merge into one in the end.

I think that if someone, anyone had come up with a tough and radical agenda it would have been enough to get a majority.

Sir Seanus Connery strikes again. I love it how people wax lyrical about a place and then choose to live elsewhere.

Well, it looks like the BNP hasn't done too well...I think this party, if it delivered it's message on immigration in a strong and coherent way, might have done better...If they aspire to be a true nationalist party, they need to jettison the 'hemming and hawing'.

Labour?...Rothschild's party.

Conservatives?...Again, same thing, although perhaps they would be a bit better for the average Brit...Still, the bankers rule in the UK, as elsewhere.

I read an interesting article about the Liberal Democrats, who, if they allied with the Conservatives, could form a majority...The article concerned Nick Clegg.

http://www.ejpress.org/article/43818

jc
The prospect of Nick Clegg, leader of the Liberal Democrats, supporting a future coalition government is regarded with fears in Jerusalem. The Liberal Democrats, who hold the balance of power following an inconclusive national election, are to meet Saturday to discuss their terms for supporting a new government led by David Cameron's Conservative Party.

TIT is absolutely right. I never travelled at all in my teens as my folks didn't have the disposable income to take me anywhere. Now I've seen 21 countries in 8 years thanks to upping sticks.

No, a referendum is for the whole populace. The Scottish people want what the Scottish people want, regardless of where I am or how patriotic I may be. I live in Poland because upheaval isn't an option at the moment. I don't want to jeopardise my marriage so soon ;) ;)

TM, the referendum isn't for me, it's for my country. You must be able to see my point by now, Farage sure as hell would. We need to go back to using democratic tools and not accept the shady shenanigans that go on in modern politics. Look at this power-sharing lark, what drivel! I know first-past-the-post was out of line with ideal approaches but that just smacks of outdated politics and the times of Lloyd George. Too much back scratching going on.

The whole process is a joke, full of bumptious gits and pretentious wan*ers!

Well, Britain has a new PM. Again someone the majority never voted for. Years of Tory taxation lie ahead? Maybe, lets see.

More importantly, even if it is a Con-Lib coalition, they'll only have 7 out of 59 seats in Scotland. That's not a mandate at all - that's a clear rejection.

How many seats did they win in Wales? Strange having a government neither NI (it cant of course) or Scotland voted for... Though another Scot in Number 10 in our secret mission to destroy the south.

Anyway enough joking aside. It's tits up for being here. Think ill make my travel plans back to my second home ;)

Years of Tory taxation lie

They forget there's a whole generation now who were kids in the 80s,stuck under tory rule and witnessing entire communities being destroyed unable to do a thing about it,well, we're in our 30s now so come on tory boys,do your worst.
Seriously though,I dont know if its good for democracy but that love in"this is my partner and also my lover" routine between the 2 public school boys was hiarious,in a sort of crap morcombe and wise way,or for our friends across the water just think Bert and Ernie....
