My mum has had Polsat for years and recently got the latest mini HD decoder which I believe has the capability to add an external hard drive to it to act as a Personal Video Recorder (PVR).

This would be a wonderful function for her to have but I wonder if there might be any issues with it working outside of Poland ?

I cant see the that there would be a problem as it is only a recording device. If its the decoder you are wanting to know about I don't see a problem with that working outside of Poland.I have a Polsat card and cam which I purchased in Poland and works fine here in the UK.I have just purchased a new box with PVR capability but have not tried to record directly to the box as its networked to my pc and I can record to that
