it is like a lad from Liverpool I was working on a site with who saw some tools in a van in Bracknell and said he felt like breaking into the van
and stealing the tools just 'to teach the owner a lesson'

this just about sums it all up, steal what you can and bollocks to everyone else

no doubt that is why you did not make use of your law degree

particularly if you cannot tell right from wrong

I believe that the bankers have behaved very badly indeed and have been encouraged to do so
however not all company directors are unscrupulous
naturally as an MD, your mandate is to maximise shareholder value however you can still sleep well at night

it has made the road a long slog but I have a reputation for being fair and honest and this
has attracted several clients through recommendations from existing clients

on another note, large companies have a purchasing department and their job is to police
suppliers and push the prices down whilst ensuring the quality is maintained. As a result
fly-by-night, rip off suppliers generally cannot work with blue chip clients. So honesty really is the best
policy in my industry

I believe that Steve Jobs was a reasonably decent human being, so was Anita Roddick, as is Bill Gates and Richard Branson

clearly for every Anita Roddick there are a hundred Monty Burns

I am aware of the economic situation however I do not believe that it gives people the excuse to travel to another
country (or stay at home for that matter) and rob the country blind

All those maybe with the exception of Branson had great ideas coupled with perfect timing, a totally different prospect than the norm.

Branson came from money, his autobiography attempts to paint an entirely different story, he also made a killing illegally exporting. Branson is a ruthless business man make no mistake but he had many things right. He is a greedy resource squanderer, cant stand the guy persoanlly.

in my line of work that would be difficult. I work in precision tooling, so it is difficult to tell porkies
particularly when sitting in a room full of tool makers who have forgotten more about tooling than
I am ever likely to know. With tooling, the tool either works or it doesn't so no amount of spin or
scullduggery can help you. I admit that if someone was working in PR, media or advertising sales
then the temptation to tell whoppers would be much greater.

Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of people in tooling who lie their heads off, but they
usually get caught

I remember that Branson had some scam where he was importing records from Belgium
or exporting them or something and he was caught by the police.

Thats the thing he talks about setting up in a basement in a London town house with his mother bringing in sandwhiches because they couldnt afford food, but the point is his parents were loaded. The financial backing was there.... Like most self made millionaires they found a niche coupled with a great idea and the desire to succeed. It is just a game and some people play that game more effectively than others. The old 'anyone can be rich' is a complete crock of shite really. Most just simply dont possess the capacity.

Right i checked your profile and saw property but that was actually your interest not profession so i made a mistake there. I can imagine it wouldnt be that easy to con a deal in your actual industry.

my dear Sir, it goes on believe me

the scams that go on in tooling are legendary

I could provide you with a tool that would fly through a trial but flash (leak like a sieve) the moment you took delivery of it
needless to say I would not, but there are many tooling agents out there that would do it without a second thought

Only last week one of my clients went to Taiwan to pay a flying visit on a toolmaker only to find out that all their tools were
somewhere in mainland China. The toolmaker had subcontracted them without telling the client.

Might I enquire what line of business you are in?

so society bases education on the pursuit of financial wealth, but social benefit fraud is looked down upon? thats a stigma which the media ram down our throats. Its fair game IMO. In any case were not talking about dole scamming specifically, its people using a benefit system because they are better off on the dole.

i dont read the guardian and live in an average sized seaside town. my town has quite a large greek community, and in excess of 2000 polish people now. however i certainly dont feel invaded, and have many friends from different countries...they make my life far more interest

Merged: The UK is no longer a country to serve the British people

We are now simply a Infrastructure & Cash cow for foreigners to come and exploit. I don't blame them, and neither should you.

Blame the politicians that have sold us out.

The Poles are USELESS as immigrants for us. They serve no purpose for our nation, and don't bring any economical benefit.

They shop exclusively at their Poland-Import shops, they pay for POLSAT in their homes, and they house share with about 10 other people, to save on rental costs.

Then theres the small factor of the 370,000 Migrants on Unemployment benefit. Jesus Christ.

They have become experts in Claiming in the UK. I believe more so than the Brits LOL. They have Polish-Language websites, with more information than the official government sites!!

They even register EHIC cards so when back home in Poland, and they fall ill, they can claim FREE healthcare from the UK Taxpayer!!!! You couldn't make this up really.

Having a child is a big decision for any normal British person, with finance and relationship to factor into the decision.
To the foreigners it's just a method of earning a few extra pounds a week, plus our free NHS makes it more of an excuse - Better get the Family started in the UK, than at home... where they'd have t pay medical fees.
It seems having babies in our country, is rather lucrative.
