The teens who can barely talk - they only have an 800 word vocabulary

Teenagers have been warned they are becoming unemployable because they use a vocabulary of just 800 words.
The limited linguistic range also consists of many made up words and 'teenspeak' which has developed through modern communication methods such as text messaging and social networking sites.
Today Jean Gross, who advises the Government on children's speech, said urgent action was required to prevent children failing to find jobs because they are unable to communicate.

Lol true.

They have been saying this crap about teenagers since the dawn of time. Cast your own mind back to those halcyon days.

Funny thing is that British kids don't become teenagers until they're 13 but Polish kids become teenagers at 11.

I prefer spack to spong to be honest but I think they have different meanings, for instance, I'd say you were more a spack than a spong.

Never heard of Meg, but Ive been called Dolly a few times...

How are they outlawed if you are publicly using them, brainiac? Is this your idea of breaking the law? Daring indeed.

Some words are considered offensive in the UK, I think thats what he meant..I think spong is a mixture of spack and mong...In all honesty, that list its complete bollox..I doubt someone would say that's "porn" - since everyone knows what the word porn is associated with...More rubbish for the guilible reader to lap up and just another dig at British kids... yawn!

But we do need dumb kids with a 800 word, one or two syllable max, vocabulary. Wheather they say 'that's porn or nrop' makes no difference to me. As long as they can understand simple instructions like GO THERE, NOW SWEEP, they will have a place in society.
