Thank you, Krysia, and The Other... Once people hear his name and know him, they love him. Let's make this happen! Make sure you are registered for the primary Feb. 2nd, if not this time around, you have till the 28th to do the Grace Period voting. You can take a car load of people to the voting location and vote on the spot if un-registered.

Look Out For A New Poll Regarding Illinois's Governor's Race

Although I am advocating Adam Andrzejewski for Governor, I just want to conduct a poll on here to see what everyone feels. Thank you!

Ok. I'll only vote for him because I like his name and he's Polish, white and cute.
Who cares about the rest.
Ain't that what voting is all about?

Attention! Big Endorsement Tuesday for Adam Andrzejewski for Governor!!!

Dear fellow friends,

Adam Andrzejewski is receiving a major endorsement this Tuesday. Press conference starts at 11 a.m. CT and lasts until 1 p.m. Visit his website at http://www.adamforillinois.com and see the news. Follow local news channels in the evening because it will most likely be showing on there. As his campaign is picking up a lot of momentum, he has won polls in two of the most democratic counties in Illinois. (3rd district of Cook County/St. Clair County in Southern Illinois) See this link for the poll results:

http://www.adamforillinois.com/Blog/2010/1/14/STRAW-POLL-VICTORY-ST-CL AIR-COUNTY-REPUBLICAN-CENTRAL-COMMITTEE/

Thank you, if we can get our fellow Polish family and friends out to the polls February 2nd, we can elect for the first time a Polish-American Governor in any major race.

To all the doubters, I say wait till tomorrow's major endorsement, the whole country will know who Adam is. It's not just because he's Polish, but his policies are just what the state needs. We cannot afford anymore business-as-usual politicians.

This dude comes accross a bit conservative :) but if I was an Illinoisan I would still vote for him just to see a Pole represent the people of Illinois. :)

Quote from the web site:
"With the backing of such bastions of conservatism as Restore American Liberty, Concerned Citizens of America, Conservative Republican Union, Illinois Gun Owner Rights Organization (IGRO), National Taxpayers United of Illinois, Republican Liberty Caucus of Illinois and Illinois Center Right Coalition, my candidacy boasts the best chance of prevailing as Illinois’ next governor."

I would like to suggest that Illinois' voters take a very close look at these "bastions of conservatism" (see above) and what they really stand for, before they vote for this guy. Exchanging a corrupt Democrat with an ultra-conservative Republican doesn't help Illinois much, IMHO.

Why not? I live here, I provide jobs here and I pay taxes here. Still not allowed to have my own opinion? ;)

Not if it's stupid. How exactly is it a bad thing that a conservative Republican might be the governor?

He is supported by questionable organizations (my personal impression, of course) which will have too much influence on him once he's elected. I don't care if he's Republican or Democrat by the way; please read my post again.

You should go on and explain to us why you find those groups questionable. As of now, you're just spitting out phrases with no context.

The organisations are pretty err, um, conservative? That is not cool, ever. All nations need moderate governments. That is that.

Why? Perhaps because he might protect religious institutions; he'll support free market capitalism; and he'll also protect our gun rights (which might be something an Aussie like you won't understand).

You are free to have your religion. Why do you need someone in politics to "protect religious institutions"? Some people, like me, think that archaic supersitious organisations do far more evil than good for humanity, and with factual cause.

Free market capitalism (not that I am saying immoderate knee-jerk reactions are good either) has brought the world down to its knees. Some people who have had way too much power with money have literaly f*&ked the world economy up as a result of adhering to the very specific ideology of "free market capitalism". The market is a beast and it needs a muzzle. I think its getting one... (you know anything about what happened in Iceland? Do you actually think?)

Gun rights? lol I am sure you need the high powered assault weapons you can buy in the states, for err, umm... shooting deer?

Please.

Religious institutions do need protection. You are plain ignorant if you don't believe that. Not too long ago, Catholic hospitals were threatened with a bill that would force them to operate abortion clinics.

Also, just think down the road. We have the government dealing with marriage right now. What if gay marriage becomes legal in all states and the Catholic Church is forced to do homosexual "matrimonies". That is an abomination that we cannot allow.

Do not insult me by asking if I think. Free-market capitalism is not going to give us utopia. I never said that but it's certainly a hell of a lot better than letting the government control many business sectors. I do believe there should be a little bit of government control (as do most conservatives) but it certainly shouldn't be to the point that the government has to spoon feed every resident. There is a reason why we became the most powerful nation on earth.

As far as gun rights go, you need to back off on that one buddy. This is America, you can go to Europe if you don't like the idea of citizens having the right to bear arms. That is what our forefathers wrote in the f*ucking constitution. My house has been broken into three times before by Spanish-speaking foreign scumbags and I was able to protect my belongings and my mother thanks to my gun collection.

To Ogien,

I appreciate that you would vote for Adam if you could. I am a fan of Peter Schiff's facebook page because he was right all along in the past when the media doubted him. I hope he wins the Senate seat.
