American Marrying Polish woman - visa question

I am born in and from USA, white not Indian, We are just looking for best way for our future.
Also when she want to work here, will her 5 year degree in microbiology will it be useful in US (ie will it transfer for new job). We were thinking marry here on first visit then she returns to complete her job and sell flat etc.. I file I-310 for CR-1 and wait it out for 9 months or so. Then go to Poland for church wedding (for her and family) after approval then return to US, is this a sound plan?

A tourist visa is easy enough to get.
I am in the same situation as you. My fiance visited me this last summer. She got her tourist visa very easily on the first attempt. She is 20 years old.
Now as far as marrying on a tourist visa, you can legally do it, but she will have to return to Poland before her tourist visa expires, and then you will have to apply for a spouse visa.

She cannot stay in the US to receive a spouse visa while being on a tourists visa, even if you get married, because a tourist visa is just that, for visiting and then going back to their home country.
So you might as well just get the fiance visa to save time and money.

I think the fiance visa will only save a coupe months and add $1000 to the total cost if my research is correct. I know she will have to return and wait for CR-1, but I can go there during the wait.

OK, I thought you were trying to find a way for her to stay in the US after marrying on a tourist visa. I am not sure of the cost differences between a fiance visa and combined tourist/spouse visa, but the cost of the extra plane tickets for you to visit her, and for her to come back to the US would drive the cost of the tourist/spouse visa much higher than just the fiance visa.

Not true.All she has to do is to apply for "adjustment of status".I think it cost $1070 (including biometrics) but check on USCIS page.

Utter BS.Once married (in the US) she DOES NOT need any fiance visa.

Utter BS... Entering the US on a tourists visa with the intent to marry AND stay in the US is a violation of the terms of the visa, and can result in deportation and can greatly hurt the chances of that person to get a future visa to the US.

Thanks we are very happy we will marry of Feb 14 and she will return on Feb 28.

Yes we both agree on it and it will be easy to remember. Thanks. After this 3 week holiday here we will have a long wait, but I plan to go to Poland in August for holiday with her. I think CR1 takes typically 9 months

Coming here on a tourist visa and then getting hitched is going to make things a little stickier than you might think. Your best bet, if possible, is to get her employer to write a letter saying they need her here (America) for whatever reason. She's going to get a B-1 tourist/business visa then, which is super easy to get on short notice. She'll just take the letter to the embassy and they'll give her the visa within 3 weeks. It's good for 90 days, and will cause you less headaches in the long run. Good luck to you, and to your wife.

There was no problem doing it on a tourist visa and it is valid for 10 years multiple entry. She returned to Poland and it took 6 month to approve the CR-1 spouse visa and we had no problems. Let me know if you have any problems with the process. There is a website called visajourney.com that details everything.and has shortcuts. The most important thing for you to do starting now is to start keeping records of your ongoing relationship. Phone records,skype email and most important photos of you together with families on both sides and things in the background like city signs etc.. to show you were together at certain places and write on each photo where and when. You will need this as proof when the time comes. You have to prove it is a bona fide marriage. I returned to Poland mid October last year so we could come back to the US together and it turns out she got pregnant at that time so our baby is made in Poland!
