Can anyone give information to where I could stay for few weeks in Chicago?

Hello!
My name is Sylwia Jedrzejak and I am a Masters student at University of London (GB). I have a question? ! I am writing my Masters Dissertation about Polish diaspora in the USA and I have to come to America to do the research at some point around June/ July. I was wondering if anyone could give me some information where I could stay for few weeks in Chicago? I have never been to America before so I would be greatful if anyone could help me with that!!! Olso, maybe someone knows where to go in Chicago to do the interviews with the local polish population? I would be greatful for any help!!!!

You should contact the Copernicus Center - the home of the Polish Cultural Center. They could probably hook you up. http://www.copernicusfdn.org/ email copernicus@ameritech.net

If youre only going to be here only a few weeks, probably a hotel would be your best bet.

Lincoln Park is nice. Do not stay south or west of the city...not great areas. Check www.craigslist.com for apartments to rent.
