Looks like I'll be in Detroit over the holidays and I would like to buy some Polish sausage, hams and perogis (maybe). Anyone know of a place? How about Hamtramck? (sp?)

Doesn't the Detroit metro area have a big Polish population? You should have no problem. Try Hamtramck.

Here is one I found ,may be worth a try-----
Polish Breakfast & Brunch,
3840 Oakwood Boulevard
Melvindale, MI 48122

(313) 388-5171 Great little polish diner! Everyone raves about Hamtramck but the food here is equally good and is cheaper.

Thanks for the help, are there any other suggestions?

It sounds like you're looking for a deli rather than a restaurant. In Hamtramck, the two biggest Polish grocer stores/delis are Polish Market (Jos. Campau and Belmont) and Bozek's (Caniff just east of Gallagher). There's also Stan's Market on Jos. Campau just north of Caniff, Srodek's on Jos. Campa and Norwalk, and Srodek's on Conant just south of Commor. If you don't want to come in to Hamtramck, there's the Polish Market at 15 and Dequindre in Troy.
