there are a lot of poles who are in the US illegally..

there used to be before the wall came down. it was an international issue back then and they were VERY illegal. I have not met an illegal polish person in years and years. last time was around... 1986-87. so timely. In New york there were many. they are all probably legal citizens today. either way they've mixed in real well. I never once met an uneducated illegal Polish person in new york. I think to make that really long illegal journey back then you had to be pretty smart and have a few connections.

you'll easily find illegal mexicans however, who barely speak english many of them.. in most cities and small towns in the usa today. just driving down the street you'll see them walking in their work clothes, hitch hiking.. riding on the backs of pick-up trucks.. or just standing around.. everywhere. most are uneducated. elementary school educations, the basics.

your comparison of the two groups is like apples and oranges, they are too different to be reconciled.

Surprised? ...or will you pretend not to be corrected yet again?

C'mon, you were dead wrong with your Mexican oil comment. An honest man would admit to it, besides, it's there for all to read.

drop in the bucket? you haven't been to chicago, have you?

I've lived here all my life except for my frequent traveling bouts, and (I) know the city inside-out. In fact, the past 4 1/2 years, I've lived on this street; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YOrdtmG2IMM&feature=related. (great fiddle riff at end of song)

illegal before the wall came down? hmm.. i don't know how, really as it was very easy to get legal immigration status back then.. but since, especially in the last decade there has been a boat loads of illegal poles in the states.. chicago is full of them.. maybe every other pole there.. they all overstay their student or tourist visas.. even in my town many young poles tend to overstay.. maybe ny is that much different from the middle here..

see, this is exactly the problem.. you totally assume, first, that every mexican is actually a mexican and secondly that they are all illegal.. and this is all based on the way they look, from what you said. this is why i am against the AZ "law" because it will lead to more discrimination by the popo there and they are already famous for doing that, even now..

i never said they had NO oil, did i now?

i gather you never go to jackowo then.. maybe not as much now (because plish population there is definitely dwindling) but even 5 years ago at least half the poles in that area were of at least questionable immigration status..

jonni:
Still Christian, actually, as I pointed out in the post.

Jonni, why are you still lying? Even when presented with facts, you still continue to lie.

jonni:
My dream ideology? For reference, here in Saudi Arabia a greater percentage of women than men attend university. Want the figures?

"The study of Islam remains at the core of the Saudi educational system. The Islamic aspect of the Saudi national curriculum is examined in a 2006 report by Freedom House.[50] The report found that in religious education classes (in any religious school), children are taught to deprecate other religions, in addition to other branches of Islam.[51] The Saudi religious studies curriculum is taught outside the Kingdom in madrasah throughout the world".

Nice studies, jonni. I hope you know what "Deprecate" means.

A couple of facts about Saudi Arabia;

"Literacy 62.8%." ---whoooo, now can you find an equal in the west?

"Saudi Arabia probably has the world's worst record on religious freedom and human rights".

"Their Ministry of Commerce is forbidden from registering trademarks for products whose images are in the form of a cross, a star of David or a Buddha statue".

"Out of fear, about 400 Christian house churches have stopped meeting. They were primarily attended by expatriates, mostly Filipinos. Steve Snyder of International Christian Concern said: "There is a silent, mutually understood moratorium on all gatherings in the country...They are staying underground."

"In late 2003, the Authority for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice (APVPV) cracked down on stores selling flowers, candles or gifts for New Year's Eve. Only two holidays can be celebrated in the country: the Muslim observances of Eid Al-Fitr and Eid Al-Adha".

Aaah, freedom...can you smell it?

"All women, regardless of age, are required to have a male guardian. Women cannot vote or be elected to high political positions.[1] It is the only country in the world that prohibits women from driving. The World Economic Forum 2009 Global Gender Gap Report ranked Saudi Arabia 130th out of 134 countries for gender parity. It was the only country to score a zero in the category of political empowerment."

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Women%27s_rights_in_Saudi_Arabia

Jonni, hello...are you there? Helloooo...jonni.

jonni:
It is your strange obsession that the adherents of one religion or people with darker skin are somehow inferior to white Europeans. Do you deny that?

No, jonni, only the ones that decapitate people on television and say they are proud of it;

"Saudi Arabia's leading executioner says he is "very proud to do God's work" and does not lose sleep over beheading several people in one day".

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/2966790.stm

Or the ones who hang young men and women in the town squares, slowly letting the suffocate, because they were either "unclean" or "homosexual".

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hanging#Iran

jonni:
It seems again that you know nothing. Sport is hugely popular in the Muslim world.

"Men can often be found playing sports. Women rarely participate in sports, and always away from the presence of men";

"Saudi Mufti Sheikh Abd Al-'Aziz bin Abdallah Aal Al-Sheikh refused to sanction women's sports, stating that "[such] demand is tantamount to a call for wantonness, for transgressing [the rules of] modesty, and for disobeying [feminine] nature, which Allah instilled in the woman upon creation." He further stated: "A woman is expected to be a homemaker and a caregiver for her children."

http://www.memri.org/report/en/0/0/0/0/0/0/3321.htm

Tell me jonni, can virgins participate in sports in Saudi Arabia? If no, what would be a logical answer to that decision?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saudi_Arabia#Sports

Why is this, jonni, where is the equality of the sexes? Why do muslim men and women have to have seperate pools? Do women have "girl-lice", You know, like when you were 4 years old in the kindergarden? I believe the islamic world is about 4 years old mentally. You obviously shine in this society.

jonni:
Your point being? Zero - you claim to hate both groups. And by the way - check out the size of India's Muslim population. Factor in Pakistan and Bangladesh and it destroys your straw-clutching.

I don't hate, unlike you jonni. I live in the real world. I deal with real matters and don't hide my crap under the carpet like you do. You defend mutilation, women-abuse, child-abuse, legalizing drugs, denying people freedom of worship or speech. You haven't seriously adressed any of my links and arguments. You counterargue with lies and steer away from the actual topic. Muslim, non-muslim 3rd worlder, it really doesn't matter...somehow they can't seem to reach the europeans in anything 2010-ish like free elections, democracy, freedom of speech, freedom of religion, womens rights, childrens rights, you know, progress. Islam is just another nail in the coffin of humanity, albeit a big one. Why do you want to help hammer it in, why defend it? You somehow like to live in they year 600?

jonni:
Yes. Some drugs are legal even in your country - you think the law should be changed?

Yes, prescribed drugs by the doctor. Not streetdrugs like you talk about. You want to legalize crack/cocain too, jonni?

jonni:
Yes and yes. I was in one yesterday.

Lies, lies and more lies, jonni! There are more titles published/printed/translated in Norway in one year than in the whole arab world combined.

jonni:
Contraception is available here. Each wife (in cases where the family opt for polygamy) has to have her own house (it tends to be a habit of the rich only)

"Here"? Jonni? I thought you lived in Warszawa. Do you reside in Saudi Arabia? That answers a lot.

jonni:
Worth reminding people about the nuttiness that racists come out with when they show their true colours.

Jonni, I only show you the truth, and you have never even commented on the facts of any of my links. You haven't refuted any of them. Your silence speaks a thousand words.

I know this must be very uncomfortable, being caught lying, falsifying facts, denying the truth and other things that fit your world-view in post after post. But if you could just take of you green-tainted glasses and see the real world, you would find out that the future is not islam, but the future has to be away from medieval religions, filled with the most ludicrous rules and regulations. This includes christianity, hinduism, judaism and other ism's. Including your racism againt non-muslims. Just let go of the hate and predjudice, jonni. Let women drive and wear T-shirts. Let people listen to non-muslim music and intermingle with the other sex on streets and restaurants. Don't put tents on women that give them serious medical conditions because of lack of vitamin D, or the fact that it's TORTURE. Let them count more than half of the man, jonni. Let's not refuse to shake hands with women and treat our dogs and pigs like worthy animals. Let's not hang homosexuals from cranes in the center square. Let's not circumcise small girls without anesthethics or marry them away to old, fat pigs. Let's not teach our children and young ones that non-muslim are unclean and that they should deplore other people's religions. Let's not put bombs in crowdes streets and kill thousands of people because they adhere to a different version of the same religion. Are we not all equal? I base my opinions on people's actions. A religions actions. I have proof. I have facts. Your answers to me have been so futile, so wrong, full of lies and personal hate. Of all the links and proof I gave you, of all the murder, incest, torture, prejudice, hate, terror, rapes and drugs that islam is involved in i posted, you did not rebute ONE THING! You attacked med with a typo in my text and the fact that I haven't changed my name after moving to Norway. This shows that it is you that is "clasping at straws", not me.

If you feel you "won" this game, jonni, so be it. But reality has a way of biting you in the ass. So don't be too cocky defending islam, it hasn't really done anything to improve our world. This will be my last post on this thread, to respect the original poster, as someone commented here. We can have our discussion on another thread, jonni.

DariuszTelka:
hello...are you there? Helloooo.

Another long, long post, nothing to do with the thread from the forum's favourite patient. I'm not going to hijack the thread by refuting some of the weird comments about Arabs not being allowed to do sport, however I will end with this, since:
DariuszTelka:
jonni! I am allowed to recieve gifts, jonni

Here's a few:
DariuszTelka:
Or the ones who hang young men and women in the town squares, slowly letting the suffocate, because they were either "unclean" or "homosexual".

They executed a pair of serial child abusers here last year, but not by hanging and not for either of the reasons you mention. Judging by some of the comments on this forum, many in Europe would welcome the death penaly for child-molesters.
DariuszTelka:
Yes, prescribed drugs by the doctor. Not streetdrugs like you talk about. You want to legalize crack/cocain too, jonni?

No, not prescribed medications like the ones I gather you have to take, but dabngerous substances sold openly in bars and tobacconists. Czech by the was has just decriminalised possession of cocaine (not AFAIK crack cocaine) and Holland openly allows sale of what you so amusingly call "street drugs". Personally I don't feel prohibiting drugs does anything to provent the consequences of overuse.
DariuszTelka:
I deal with real matters and don't hide my crap under the carpet like you do. You defend mutilation, women-abuse, child-abuse, legalizing drugs, denying people freedom of worship or speech.

Show me even one sentance where I defend any of those except for a free-market approach to drugs. You lost the argument and are now trying to create a strawman to rail against. And as I proved, Islam, which you seem to hate so much forbids all of these.
DariuszTelka:
Lies, lies and more lies, jonni! There are more titles published/printed/translated in Norway in one year than in the whole arab world combined.

Can you prove your assertion?
DariuszTelka:
"Here"? Jonni? I thought you lived in Warszawa. Do you reside in Saudi Arabia? That answers a lot.

Ah, a bit of 'profile-stalking' :-) For the record, I live in Warsaw but spend a lot of time in the Magic Kingdom for professional reasons - I am there now. When you're finally released, you should visit - it might change some of your perceptions about the people and culture.
DariuszTelka:
never even commented on the facts of any of my links

Because there aren't any, just distortions and weird details taked willfully out of context.
DariuszTelka:
Your silence speaks a thousand words.

I hope so.
DariuszTelka:
but the future has to be away from medieval religions, filled with the most ludicrous rules and regulations. This includes christianity, hinduism, judaism and other ism's. Including your racism againt non-muslims.

You're against Christianity? By the way, why my racism against non-muslims (which I am). Then again, you're an immigrant who hates immigrants, so I imagine anything is possible.
DariuszTelka:
Don't put tents on women that give them serious medical conditions because of lack of vitamin D, or the fact that it's TORTURE. Let them count more than half of the man, jonni. Let's not refuse to shake hands with women and treat our dogs and pigs like worthy animals. Let's not hang homosexuals from cranes in the center square. Let's not circumcise small girls without anesthethics or marry them away to old, fat pigs

None of those things happen here, except for an absence of dogs, which at leasts keeps the pavements and parks clean.
DariuszTelka:

Because Dariusz, there wasn't anything but nonsense and race-hate to refute, except the nutty insults about whole nationalities and ill-informed (have you actually visited any of the counties whose culture you are criticising) prejudice that leads to an immigrant saying:
DariuszTelka:
So you see, I don't only go after muslims. But 3rd worlders in general

As I said twice before, game, set and match.

So what do you think about this recently enforced law? As a south american ,I find it good. I don´t like illegal immigrants (mostly Mexicans that cross the border) refusing to integrate, work or do something productive for the American society, so it´s good the ILLEGALS will be hunted and ultimately deported.

You did´t expect me to say something like that, did you? :) So how about posting your own opinion on this matter?

I dont get this! He is an inmigrant, he does not realize that this Law (if enforced) will affect him too, cause sadly, cops won't know whether he is legal or ilegal so he is a suspect and should be interrogate it and humilliated maybe just for being dark-skinned...

I hope they catch Miguel Colombia once, im sure his opinion will change radically.

Brief for 9 states backs Arizona immigration law

Michigan is the lead state backing Arizona in federal court and is joined by Alabama, Florida, Nebraska, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas and Virginia, as well as the Northern Mariana Islands.

The Arizona law, set to take effect July 29, directs officers to question people about their immigration status during the enforcement of other laws such as traffic stops and if there's a reasonable suspicion they're in the U.S. illegally.

Well, I have never been to Chicago so I wouldn't know about that. It must not have been all that easy for everyone back then though, because really, I knew whole bunches of illegal poles 20 years ago. And east germans too. But it probably doesn't matter either way.

in so far as your racial profiling comments, you need to read this

lol. right.. they may pass what they wish but all of those "laws" will be as unconstitutional as the AZ one is.

FEDERAL AGENTS at the BORDER ONLY! that's a big difference with what AZ has passed.. BIG difference.. so, that law doesn't apply in to this either..

the drug war gets bigger and bigger.

read this

Pilot of DC9 In 5.5 Ton Cocaine Busts Escaped Thrice
http://www.madcowprod.com/07152010.htm

.. Bloomberg Magazine reporter Michael Smith story last week, "Wachovia’s Drug Habit,” about the bank’s sordid history of laundering drug money for Mexican drug cartels, can be seen in an entirely new light.

Wachovia's nasty habit of moving money around for Mexican drug smugglers, the story reported, provided the clean cash necessary for the purchase of a still-undisclosed number of American planes, including the DC-9, which cumulatively flew at least 22 tons of cocaine, which put the massive drug bust aboard the DC9 back in the news.

The DC-9 from St Petersburg FL is on one end of an equation, with Wachovia, which laundered the money that bought it, on the other. ..

Because there are a lot of people from POLAND in the US, and they are affected by changes to immigration law.

Well, guess what everybody? Arizona has until the end of this month for the new law to be officially approved. There's still time to stop it's passage and the Obama Administration is doint its level best to try and prevent chaos.

I believe Gov. Brewer will come to see how shortsighted she's been-:))) After all, her's is thus far the ONLY one of our states to come up with such a hair-brained plan. Not even California's Schwarzenegger (an immigrant himself, but from one those "respectable" countries waaayyyyy Northeast of the border LOL!!!) ever wanted to impliment this sort of solution and he's even more right wing than Brewer, at least as far as his record on certain key Republican issues, such as gun control, abortion, etc....

"The widow of a Houston police officer killed by an illegal immigrant was "shocked" to learn that the city's former police chief has landed a top immigration job with the Obama administration, her lawyer told FoxNews.com on Friday".

"The gunman who killed Johnson's husband had already been deported once, returned and then arrested at least three times before he shot the officer. Johnson's original court petition -- naming Hurtt as well as the city and the police department -- claimed that the department's failure to discover the gunman's immigration status and report him to federal authorities enabled him to stay "at large" in the country".

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2010/06/25/widow-houston-officer-kille d-illegal-immigrant-shocked-ice-appointment/

Yeah, let's not talk about the crime the illegals commit. Like murdering police officers, taking away a life, destroying the family and the local community. The feelings of the questioned immigrants should be a higher priority. Now please call the dead officers wife and try and convince her of that. Feelings vs murder..hm..tough one.

Hehe, I know, but what about ABC, CBS, CNN....they aren't exactly the promotors of truth either...besides, the newschannel might be dubious, but the story is real....so don't shoot the messenger. I get my facts from both the far left...and the far right..and whatever is in the middle.

The general news outlets are way more left than Fox News is to the right. At least Fox News interviews Democrats and other lefties making it much more fair than MSNBC for instance, which rarely interviews righties.

As to "the System", it is now run by Democrats who control all three branches of government, not to mention academia which influences students with leftist propaganda and unions. The latter want to become one with the government (most union workers are government employees which in itself is ironic).

If you like BigGovernment running your life than you'll vote for a Democrat.
If you want MiddleGovernment running your life than you'll vote for a Republican.
If you want smaller government and less taxes you'll vote Libertarian.

....and if you like NO government at all.....move to Hawaii LOL

And, while we're on the subject, what's wrong with at least a Roosevelt-Kennedyesque style of "Socialism light", as under the New Deal, huh?? In fact, if you read your US history, the role of Government, according to the authors of the Federalist Papers, messrs. Washington, Adams and Jefferson, was origianlly intended to be considerably greater than it is today.
We're essentially living out the Reagan spin on the American Dream, more an American Nightmare/Tragedy for those who slip through the cracks (....getting wider as we speak!!).
Is this the America you're proud of: GET RICH QUICK OR STARVE ON YOUR OWN TIME????!!

I know, the Bush dynasty has multiple heads, and it doesn't really help to cut one off. Three new ones will grow out and replace it. But I don't believe the "other side" is any better. The Rothschilds, the Warburgs and the Rockefellers are the real power behind it all. The rest are just muppets, and puppets in the big theatre that is our world politics. (Hey, I sound like David Icke...).

Norway, Norge, is just another extension, a dial on the NWO telephone. (Besides, you are you writing in old-type norwegian? :-))))) Our prime-minister, his cabinet, the royal family and the intellectual elite are tied up with the rest of the european power-structure. They are all inbreeds and on first-name basis with eachother. Just look at the guest list when the Bilderbergs meet. Many norwegian names there too. (Now I sound like Alex Jones...hm...)

Unfortunately/fortunately I'm less than informed about polish politics. But I do plan on moving there within a few years, and will probably find out that they play the same games down there, just with different masks and names attached to their costumes...

Ah, what can one do? I dream myself away watching survival-documentaries and especially like the "off-the-grid" ones. Those people have my full respect.

Możesz odpowiedzić następnego razu po polsku, but I know you enjoy practicing your English. If I understood you, you're saying you're deep down apolitical. Is that right?
I tend towards the conservative side of liberalism.-:)))

You made just a few errors in this post which I'll only point out, since I know you're as eager to improve your English as I am to improve my Polish. LOL Here goes:

"Norway..... is just another extension..."

Of what? Unclear reference.

"Besides, you are writing in old-type Norwegian?"

This is a statement, not a question. In addition, what's "old-type Norwegian"?? DO you mean "old-fashioned Nrowegian"???

".......many norwegian names there...."

Always capitalize initial letter of nationalities in English-:))

Regards,

Forgive my corrections, Dariusz. I wasn't in any way trying to be condescending, I just figured you'd welcome minor correction-:))

Like on the international phone...press 1 for Norway...2 for Sweden...when NWO calls, Norway answers...if they say "Jump", we say; "How high?".

Yes...hehe. My wife was stressing me out of the living room...I meant old fashioned...sometimes I just translate directly from Norwegian... :-)

I will from now on...in Norway we don't do it...unfortunately it rubs over to my English..but thanks for the reminder!

I surely do! I don't mind it at all. My written Polish is rather poor, since I moved to Norway when I was 3...so I only speak and read the language, in a rather modest way.... Besides, the moderators in here don't really like it when people write in Polish too much... ;-)

Delighted at your refreshingly open attitude, Dariusz--::)!

Indeed, you've clearly absorbed the popular spoken idiom ("stressing me out" = getting on my back).

Your ideas though are articulately expressed. I do agree only in part though LOL

My Norwegian is better than my Polish. Off topic, I couldn't imagine such a ruling in Norway as exists in Arizona, could you?

Well, as the U.S. law and the whole border dispute with Mexico is pretty unique to the U.S, it's hard to imagine anything similar here in Norway. We do argue quite a lot with the Russians in the north though. But they mostly want to flex their muscles and breach our airspace once in a while, since we are in bed with NATO and the U.S. And there's a humorous, but a certain hostile undertone of resentment to the Swedes in the restaurant/nightlife business. Haven't really heard anything about the Polish workers, and 90% of Norwegians feel they are doing a good job from what I read, but I don't have to many contacts in the contstruction industry as I used to, so there might be feelings out there that are hidden from us.

Swedish "invasion", from an African newssite, nonetheless!! It's the 15th and 16th hundred's all over again! ;-))

When it comes to 3rd world immigrants coming to our (Norway's) border, they usually have been through half a dozen countries in Europe, and the biggest problem is that they "lost" their papers, filed off their fingerprints or claim to be persecuted/underage. Then it's up to our system to find out the truth. The challenge is that they come from dozens of countries, war-zones and religious backgrounds. They all require translators and "lost" their memory. This just makes a lot of paper work, creates headaches for the state employers and round and round they go, from one institution to another in hope that something will happen. In the meantime they are usually stuffed together in temporary housing units spread all over the country, sometimes for up to a decade! This in the end escalates to riots and violence, like last week, when they burnt down the whole asylum-transit camp just outside of Oslo. The police claim that close to 20 000 asylum seekers are hiding illegaly in Norway. How do they survive, eat and sleep? Why is this allowed to happen at all? Ask the Social-Democrats, it's the same story all over western-Europe. Just look at the tent-cities in Calais/Dover or on the beaches of Spain. Why do people want MORE people to come to our continent, if we can't even take care of the ones already here?

One can blame the politicians, and/or one can blame the system. All I know is it doesn't work, the Norwegian tax-payer is stuck with the bill and politicians argue meaninglessly in the government/media about how to solve it. In the mean time those "dangerous" conservatives/national populists are closing in on the power, and will most certainly get it in the next elections. The newspapers are frightened with the prospect of parties like NPD in Germany, SD in Sweden, FrP in Norway, BNP in England, Front National in France, Jobbik in Hungary and so on. The democrats/socialist are themselves giving up their power by not listening to the people and taking action.

I feel that Arizona should be allowed to fix what does not work, if the government cannot provide what is demanded of them. The most important thing is that the people of Arizona AND the immigrants need RULES and REGULATIONS that take care of both people's rights. Arizonians first and foremost. If the government fails, then it's Arizona's right to do what is in their best interest, and if that goes against the government in Washington D.C. then to hell with the system! This is now backed up by all the other states with the same problem, that are now lining up behind Arizona to implement the same laws. How long will the U.S be a 50 state country?
